Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hempstead

Charming home very well maintained and super clean! This was the perfect location to experience all the local charm of Port Jeff! The house had everything we needed - my family felt right at home the second we walked through the doors. Jennifer was proactive with clear instructions - we would 1000% stay again.

Jeamcarlos was very helpful, the listing place is beautiful , my friends and I had such a relaxing time before my actual birthday. I would definitely book again I loved this place, I loved how big and spacious it was, the kitchen was beautiful. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long drive , it was definitely just what we needed, quiet neighborhood also, which was Great! And Jeamcarlos was always one text away to help us with anything we might have needed :)

What an absolutely gorgeous home! Staying here truly felt like being in paradise. The house itself feels so inviting; it took no time at all to relax and feel at home. Everything that you could possibly need is here in the house. Michael’s attention to detail deserves praise! This home stands out from all others because of the minor details. Thank you, Mike, for giving me a safe, pristine, relaxing place to call home for a while. I look forward to staying here again!

We felt cheated at not having been able to get beach time this year and the only option for us to correct that was staying at Robert's blue cottage. It wasn't even a question for us since we've had many prior visits and knew it would be the best perfect spot to escape. Already thinking about next year! Robert was wonderful, as always, with all aspects of our visit. Let me not forget to mention the deer, 3-4 of them traveling together, spent a lot of time hanging out with us just off the deck, feeding and nestled under cover of the trees. We felt welcomed.

This was our second time staying at this home, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. The place is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It suits my family, who visit me every year from abroad, perfectly. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, and the hosts are absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly feel at home here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, clean, quiet stay.

Absolutely fantastic place in a perfect location on Fire Island. Maryann is also an incredible host—by far the smoothest communications process of any vacation rental I’ve stayed in. Would love to return to this place and check out some fantastic other properties she has. One word to the wise though— if you come early in FI offseason, there is a lot of maintenance work being done around town—-the neighbors across street somehow had someone power washing their fence for two days straight and there is some car traffic on the island. Not a dealbreaker but worth being mindful of…

Frank was wonderful to communicate with! The place was beautiful and quiet. Beautiful kitchen area, comfortable bed, and close to places to eat. We had a wonderful stay there. I would stay here again!

Perfect if you’re looking for a spot to feel at home!

My family of four had a truly wonderful experience at Mabel’s place. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and above all very convenient to get into NYC. Mabel is a very responsive host - always available and helpful! The place itself is quiet, and we got very restful sleep after spending the days in the city. We also had the chance to visit family and friends in New Jersey given the location. I would highly recommend Mabel’s place and her other listings (going by how good our experience was!)

Wonderful apartment in a warm neighbourhood and very convenient location, easy walk to the Path or Ferry to NYC. A couple great playgrounds nearby. Apartment thoughtfully appointed and was nice to have some outdoor space. Emily was a great host and appreciate her prompt replies and flexibility (where it was possible).

Excellent location midtown location central to restaurants, markets, and easily walkable to Grand Central station. The apartment was clean with all the amenities, (love the BIG coffee mugs) plenty of closet space, and the bed was comfortable. Overall a wonderful respite of calm and comfort after a day in the city. Easy check-in/check-out and Samira was helpful and very kind every step of the way. Can’t wait to return!

This place came with a lot of charm! Everything was as advertised, and Greg was gracious enough to allow us to check-in early. There was plenty of space for our group of 3 that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other during our stay. Last but not least, the value of this place was pretty great!

Great location if you're visiting New York. Walking distance to the Path train which takes you to the WTC (where there are a number of metro lines going into the city) or 33rd. Traveling takes more time than when you would stay in the city, but is also part of the trip. We absolutely enjoyed staying in New Jersey. It was nice to start and end the day with some quietness, in contrast to busy NYC. Lots of restaurants to have dinner, affordable prices and not as touristy as NYC. The apartment was great. Everything you needed. We travelled with two adults and two teenagers, so it was nice to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The welcome guide (send by e-mail but also available in the apartment) was really nice. If you still have to book your flight, it's easier (and cheaper) to get to the apartment from Newark than from JFK.
