Our apartment with garden is located in the historic center of Oberkaufungen. It is located in a half-timbered house overlooking the Stiftskirche and the Kaufunger Wald. The tram to Kassel is 10 minutes away. The apartment is newly renovated. It is about 40 square meters. Living space, consisting of a closed bedroom, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen-living room. The apartment is suitable for 2 adults. If a toddler is traveling, a travel crib is available. The garden in front of the house may be used by the guests. There is a sitting area with a table and chairs. It invites you to have breakfast in the countryside or a glass of wine in the evening sun. Pets are welcome, but must be announced in advance. The stay for a dog costs an extra 10 euros for 1-2 days, and 20 euros for a longer stay.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

The cottage is quietly located between pasture and the edge of the forest, right by the Hoher Meissner hiking area. 7.5 km from the Heilbad Sooden-Allendorf an der Werra. On 60 m² there are two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with a cozy fireplace and sofa bed as well as a well-equipped kitchen and shower room. Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
