The cottage is located below the castle Hengebach directly on the spa park in the old town of Heimbach (in a play street). The completely renovated half-timbered house from 1901 stands on rock and meter-thick natural stone walls, which are certainly much older. Heimbach is a small, cozy air spa in the Eifel National Park with many cafes and restaurants. There are countless hiking and cycling trails and the large Rursee with many water sports is just around the corner.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
