Vacation rentals with lake access in Heerhugowaard

We felt very comfortable right away. The apartment is great and the amenities are great. Our kids loved the trampoline. Also that we could see sailboats every day and ate with a view of the water was great. We liked it so much that we will definitely come back again. It is definitely recommended to take bicycles, because the nearest supermarket is a few kilometers away. If you like peace and seclusion, you will be able to relax well here. Thanks to the very likeable host. It should also be mentioned that our daughter had a birthday during the stay and even received a cake from the host and a garland. She was very happy about it. :-)

Richard and Brenda are very welcoming hosts, no question is too much and they are very proactive. Upon arrival, the Jacuzzi turned out to be broken, but the boat was then offered free of charge, and we were able to do a lovely trip on the lakes. the house feels like a home, everything is in the house to make it a nice stay (kitchen supplies, herbs, etc but also board games, a Wii,...) definitely recommend staying here

This house was really fantastic. Waking up in the morning to the sunlight that dances over it, and the opportunity to walk everywhere made our stay feel wonderfully cozy. It was a place full of tranquility and beauty-the perfect environment to make the transition to our new life. We are grateful that we were able to spend this special time here.

We had 4 very nice days in the idyllic surroundings and the very nice house. There were five of us there and we had a dog with us too. Everything was a great fit. We were able to spend wonderful quiet days. The instructions worked out great for the "ferry" to get to the house. The contact was always quick and informative, we felt well taken care of.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The apartment is very nice and cozy. you open the front door in a small hallway, from which the quite steep stairs lead straight to the second floor. On the top left (with the canal view) there is 1 single bed. On the top right is the second bedroom with a 1.40 m bed and a built-in closet. Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom with the shower and a toilet. From the hallway just to the right, the door leads into the open living dining area (sofa, table, 4 chairs , 1 stool) with open kitchen. From the kitchen you can access the guest toilet and the outdoor area : terrace and a small staircase to the left of the shed (washing machine and storage area ) overlooking the canal. Seating is available. Need to Know: - Back door is opened by pushing the latch up when turning the key. -Bed is rather soft and a little saggy Place is highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

The Luna Beach House is beautifully decorated, absolutely tasteful and stylish. The location by the lake and the view of it put a smile on our faces every day. It was also nice that everything was so clean. We would come back!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The pictures correspond exactly to what it looks like. Communication with Sandra was also very good 😊

We loved our stay in Uitgeest! It's a little far from the train station (half an hour walk), but the walk is fun and through the beautiful small city center. The whole apartment was beautiful and well-laid-out, and everything was super clean. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anything more — it was perfect! We particularly loved the porch overlooking the canal, though we weren't there long enough to fully avail of it. All-around, a great place to stay in a very beautiful spot not too far from Amsterdam.

Super location. On the dyke, but in a quiet place. Car can be parked for free. Friendly host who responds quickly. And we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious treat waiting for us in the fridge!

A 10-star accommodation, quite an experience

Mr. Mike was great, very kind, the house is great and the place is very beautiful. It was a nice weekend.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Fantastic nature, close to the major cities Utrecht and Amsterdam, cca 30 minutes by car to either one. The apartment is on the roof of the building, surrounded by succulents and flowers. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The nature park part of the lake is a must see. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we will be back for sure!

Very well located Airbnb in a beautiful surrounding. We felt right at home. You can tell they put a lot of love in this place. Their home has a unique character. Thank you very much!

Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

We had a great stay at the property. The area is quiet, optimal with children. The nearest supermarket is within walking distance and you can also walk to the beach in about 20 minutes. There's everything you need in the house. We would come back. :-)

Absolutely wondeful cottage on the water - cosy, comfortable and very well thought out. We had a fantastic time going out on the boat (our little 4 year old learned to row!) and sitting on the deck, enjoying watching the ducks and coots. Mike and Denise are very attentive hosts. We miss it already and hope to be back!

John is a very friendly landlord who always responded to questions in a friendly and quick manner. In the house itself, we were warmly welcomed according to the instructions and were very impressed by the many details. The house has every comfort and nothing was missing. The only small drawback I have to mention is that the house is very brightly lit. Every visit to the toilet, every shower, etc. of these had something for all fellow travelers, but nevertheless life in the house was very pleasant. The lower room does not allow any privacy, although this was already mentioned in the reviews by our predecessors. We would recommend the house and the landlord at any time !!! ❤️❤️

It’s a nice peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Our kid enjoyed both indoor and outdoor park. Definitely a place to come back again!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

Edam is a great place where you can easily get everything you need on foot. It has lots of great restaurants in walking distance and everywhere has picturesque canals and waterways. Super friendly and relaxed home with top class amenities. Perfect for a family .

We felt very comfortable with Lonneke! Everything was as described in the photos. I also loved that she always responded quickly to my messages and questions. The place was clean and well furnished so that nothing was missing. The location is very great and very easily accessible by bus from Amsterdam and you are in the center in a good 15 minutes! If you want to have peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of the city, I highly recommend this place! Simply super nice location and super hosts! Thank you for the great time and for your hospitality! I'd love to come back when I'm in Amsterdam again. Everything was great!
