Sage Deluxe Double Queen Studio at The Dogwood

CinderRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We moved from Indiana to South Carolina and needed a quick place to stay that was affordable, clean and allowed pets (also the hot tub was a bonus). It was exactly what we needed. We had some questions due to how quickly we made the reservation on the road and the communication was AMAZING; all our questions and concerns answered super timely. Great place to stay and what an amazing area to visit. We have talked about coming back for a few of the festivals the locals mentioned.

We loved our stay at the Dogwood! It is a great renovation and perfect for a quick get away. The hot tub was not working when we were there which was disappointing. Everything else was wonderful about our stay. We will definitely book again!

Mountain Memories

DawnRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I loved this cabin! I booked this stay prior to Helene and the host asked if I wanted to cancel due to area damage and I'm glad I declined. Waynesville/Maggie Valley had less damage than the towns East and the towns I explored were not hurting for tourist. The previous reviews had me a little nervous about the drive up to the cabin and I have to say that it was kind of easy. If you frequently visit this area or any Mountain town, it's a normal mountain dirt road. The cabin itself had everything I needed. Weather was from the 20's to 60's, but the house was warm with 2 fireplaces and the floor heaters. The views were the best I've had and to be that high up on a clear night, it's like being in with the stars. In the morning, I drove 15 minutes and walked the 3 mile loop around Lake Junalaska and spent my days in Smoky Mountain National Park. It was Thanksgiving and every town was decorated for the holidays. I also saw a huge Bull Elk just a few miles from the cabin!

We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday weekend at Ferguson House to celebrate a special anniversary. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. The hot tub, stove, and fire pit provided the perfect, private setting. We loved sitting by the fire gazing up at the stars. Instructions and local recommendations were very helpful. Beth was very responsive and welcoming with many special touches.

Holby Hill Mountain Retreat Just Outside Asheville

RichardRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Each year we take our grown children on a snowboard trip. We look for an area where we can go to more than one ski resort. This home was ideal as it was in a locale that allowed us to visit multiple ski resorts. The home itself was an amazing place to stay. We felt right at home and the owner was very responsive. The amenities were perfect because if we were not on the slopes we were able to enjoy the home by playing pool, ping pong, checkers and darts. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and freshly made muffins. The home and view were spectacular. We felt at home and would definitely visit again. The owner made us feel like we were friends and that goes a long way with your overall experience.
