Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Haywood County

We were very happy with our stay here! Home was well stocked and covered all the basic needs-amenities, with a few extras that took it over the top. My wife and I were visiting family nearby while also working remotely during the day and we had zero issues doing so. There was plenty of space for both of us to work, and the internet speed was more than enough for both of us to work at the same time. My personal favorite was working outside on the screened-in porch! Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Regarding the driveway up - yes, it was steep, however, we were driving an AWD Mazda CX-5 and made it up on the first try every time. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Beautiful location, Johnathan creek, which is located right on property, is amazing!

We have an amazing time with our daughter and son in law. The house is so cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable! We would recommend to anyone and will be back! If you are going sight seeing, to the casinos or even just want to relax…this is the place.

Very peaceful and secluded, cozy cabin with beautiful views! It has everything you would need to spend time with your family and friends. Diana provides pretty detailed instructions how to get there - just follow them, look for the signs with a street name, and you’ll get there. I would recommend going there in 4x4 with a descent clearance. Another Airbnb gem in my favorites!

We had the best time at Lauren's home! We felt extremely comfortable and the location was great! The bathrooms were updated and so nice to use.

Everything on our trip was perfect. The house, the location, the view—absolutely perfect. It's in a very convenient spot, with great restaurants and shops just minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels and hand towels available. The living room had ample seating for our entire group, as did the kitchen table and the porch, which made for some really relaxing mornings and evenings. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest and recharge after our days exploring. Parking was also a breeze—there was more than enough room for two cars, and you could easily fit a third if needed. What really stood out was the view. The photos just don’t do it justice. Stepping out onto the front porch each day felt like stepping into a postcard. It’s truly stunning. The host was fantastic—very responsive and informative from start to finish. We felt well taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend this home.

Our family has stayed here several times to be close to WCU. The only issue on this last visit was cell service was so poor we could not make any calls. Internet is always good in the unit.

We enjoyed our stay at Corey’s place. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the golfers and walking the neighborhood. There were beautiful views surrounding us. Corey was very responsive. We look forward to returning.

The cottage is easy to find and has great access to the lake. We walked on the walking path every afternoon during our stay. The cottage has great amenities and is a great value. The location is within 5-10 minutes of almost all restaurants/shopping you could need during your stay. Highly recommend.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful this home and experience was for our family. We had family coming from several parts of the country for Thanksgiving and it was an ideal location! We loved using hot tub and making fires in the outdoor fireplace. Thank you for a great experience!

This was our second stay at Carolyn’s wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as perfect as the first! The lake views are absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect getaway. Carolyn is a fantastic experienced host, thoughtful and welcoming. It felt like coming back home. Our dog got to join us, and he loved it just as much as we did! If you’re traveling with a dog, you can’t beat the accommodations of Carolyn‘s place. It’s so nice to find a place that’s both pet-friendly and convenient and nice and truly relaxing for humans. We can’t recommend Carolyn’s home high enough and will definitely be back again. Thank you, Carolyn, for another amazing visit!

John’s place was conveniently located to local restaurants and shops! It’s about a 25 minute drive to Asheville which was a plus. Cabin is super clean and cozy. Definitely will stay here again!

As always, we LOVED our stay at Uncle Joe’s Cabin. This place is a little slice of heaven and this trip was exactly what our family needed. Our 4 kids always love playing in the creek and I loved napping on the porch listening to the creek and the rain. The cabin itself is so cozy and peaceful and the surroundings are simply beautiful! It’s the ideal location for a laid back, relaxing vacation full of family time!

Wonderful cabin to stay at. Home is peaceful and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is comfortable. Covered deck runs the full length of the house and the French doors on the bedrooms are wonderful to use in the morning. 4WD is highly recommended, and house is good ways up the mountain so you will be on a steep dirt road incline for a bit. The road up the mountain is also narrow in places, but consistent with the other cabins I've been to in the area. Trust the hosts directions - Google maps tried to take me down a different road. I turned it off and followed Chris and Gails directions. Had no trouble finding the driveway.

Peaceful cabin! Everything was perfect. Easy to find. Great location for people visiting their kids at WCU. Would definitely stay here again. Felt right at home, so did our dog. The beds were so comfortable, they slept great. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay! The creek is peaceful to sit by with the kids and pets, the house is gorgeous and spacious! The best part is waking up in the morning opening the doors and feeling the crisp clean air and listening to the constant sound of the running creek! If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay at Brian’s place again! Great host Great home!

Silvia's tiny home was amazing. It was so "homey" from the moment we walked in. She put so many amenities in this small space. And it didn't feel crowded at all. She thought of EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL! The home was spotless! And the bedding was so comfy. I'll definitely stay there again when we visit WCU.

This was an amazing place to stay, Jon was great in communication and everything was explained well prior to my arrival. The cabin had everything we could have needed for a week long stay with no need for us to purchase any of the everyday items that you wouldn't think about needing to purchase. The cabin was beautiful and felt very homey. Overall, it was a great place and an excellent place to spend a week in the mountains.
