Vacation rentals with a patio in Hawaiian Paradise Park

Second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely experience and lovely area off the beaten path. Very quiet and clean. I’m appreciative of the hospitality that both Sharon and Stephen showed me. Will be going back for a 3rd time in the future.

The stay with Robynne was amazing! It's rare to find such a great host and such an incredibly cosy and super clean Airbnb. We would have loved to stay longer. We couldn't have imagined a better stay. It felt like home. We also got to meet the two huskies and they were super cute. All in all: 10 out of 10!! Mahalo Robynne and thank you for your hospitality!

Epic apartment right in downtown Pahoa. Amazing communication with the hosts who were very flexible and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

I love the Airbnb, have everything you need for you to feel your in home. The parking lot is so dark at night there is not light but after that everything is perfect.

Loved the stay here! Situated just next to the downtown area, combination of some peacefulness & privacy with convenience. Clean and tidy room. The fully-equipped kitchen had every utensils needed, a toaster oven and a coffee pod machine with 5 pods. Also had salt and pepper so we didn’t have to bring them. Helped us save some money. About parking: for me, instructions were a little confusing. Best to park at the NORTHERN side of the complex (not where the google map leads you). Find route to Hale Inu Sports Bar and - when you reach the left turn on the side just before the complex - enter that way. You’ll find plenty of space there. As written in the descriptions, note that the unit is on 3rd floor with no elevators. We knew that so that was not much of a trouble. Overall, good deal for the price!

We were very happy with our studio! Very clean , surrounded by beautiful plants and tons of different flowers. We had our dog with us and she had fun too. Being able to do our laundry was a great benefit and blessing. Jacob was very friendly nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Really quaint little place, exactly as described. Richard was a great host and provided everything we needed. It is slightly off the main road and down a gravel lane but the instructions were very clear and precise. We would come back.

Michelle and Joe are wonderful, kind hosts. The place is great - it’s big, clean, and well stocked. The lanai is amazing, as is the pool! It’s easy to walk to the coast, and in driving distance to Hilo and many waterfalls and hikes in the area. Michelle and Joe kindly gave us a tour around the property, showed us the gorgeous fruits as well as all the work they’ve done to improve the property. We even got to try different coconuts from their trees! We had a great time at Michelle and Joe’s place and will definitely book again when we return to the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This is an absolutely amazing Airbnb with all the amenities to have a memorable time on the Hilo side of Big Island! Lynne and Jerry are wonderful hosts, who are very responsive and attentive to detail to ensure that their guests have the best experience possible. The home is spacious, immaculately clean, very comfortable, quiet, and very private. There's an automated gate that secures entry into the property, however, the surrounding area is very safe with many friendly neighbors who embody the Aloha spirit! The home is newly built with modern appliances, as are the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. It was built in a very eco-conscious and sustainable way. We had many plans scheduled during our time on this side of the island and this Airbnb is very strategically located near all the main tourist attractions, including Hilo/greater Hilo area as well as Mauna Kea. I cannot recommend this place enough and it would be an absolute pleasure to stay here again!

We absolutely loved The Sugar Shack! It was more than what we expected - the house had everything we needed, and the flow was seamless. Even though we arrived pretty late, the instructions on how to get to the house were very clear, and we found it without any issues. It felt like we had lived there for years, which made it so perfect for us. The location was fantastic - about an hour away from Hilo, nestled in the beautiful SeaView subdivision. We had the opportunity to check out an event at the SeaView park, which was a lot of fun. Plus, we were close to Volcanoes National Park and some stunning black sand beaches. We highly recommend The Sugar Shack - it was the perfect spot for our stay!

Home just as pictured and described. A/C was such a relief with the tropical climate. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The master bedroom restroom had a very cool imitation of volcanic rock for the floor. Only *minor* issue would be the entrance to the driveway is a little on the steep side. we bottomed out our car on 2 occasions but as long as you take a really sharp approach angle when leaving, you'll be perfectly fine; or an suv/truck would have no issues at all. Overall, great stay and worth every dollar!

We had a great time in the house of Tabitha. The house is very nice, comfortable. In the heart of the forest, it is a magical place. The balcony with the observatory to the stars is so nice. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location in Keaau. Ocean views from the lanai and could hear the sound of the waves crashing on the cliffs just across the quiet street. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Larry was incredibly responsive and kind! The house is tucked away from central kea'au and hilo, the neighborhood is very quiet. Parking is available. There are many roaming chickens around the property but that is just Hawai'i in general. The stay was very enjoyable :) the place is definitely cabin vibes but it was nice to retreat after the busy festival weekend.

Great experience staying here, felt like on Bali a bit considering the semi-open house architecture and a garden full of fruit trees. The house is large, spacious and we loved especially the outside part where we spent most of the time exercising in the morning, having meals, reading, taking photos of colourful birds passing by and in the night stargazing accompanied by a symphony of forest noises! Absolutely wonderful. We met also the owners and had a nice chat, learning about the best spots to visit in the area. last the local guide book we found on the table was extremely useful!!! All-in-all we had a great time here! Fully recommended!

The listing matched what the description said. It was very clean and breezy when you open up the balcony door and the front door which felt amazing at night given there is no AC (not needed). Be aware of parking in the back at night as it is very dark and not as lit, would suggest parking in the lot in the front of the apartment where there is cameras. Overall, we had a pleasant time at this listing as it was very convenient to VNP, waterfalls, and restaurants nearby.

This place was fabulous. Everything I had hoped it would be and more. The cove right at the condo was amazing. We walked out at night and got see the turtles. My favorite place so far. The host was awesome too. Hope we get to come back here someday.

Everything was wonderful. Shae was very helpful and attentive to whatever we needed. Great recommendations for sightseeing, shopping, dining.

Unit was very clean and host provided good information-follow her instructions to find unit. Condo community is a bit aged/in need of maintenance but the unit was very well maintained. We used laundry and this worked very well.

A very nice, cozy apart. Very good location, 5 mins drive to the beach and shopping center around. 45 mins drive to the volcano NP and we saw the episode 23 eruption. Krista and Ala always responds very quicknd helpfu.

Perfect central location in Hilo. We've stayed here before and written a review before as well. It's just a good as last time. Easy check in and check out, clean and also comfortable bed. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. She communicates very well and easy to contact. We love this place!

Joe and Cindy’s place in Hilo was a great base of operations for all the adventuring we had lined up while visiting the area. The location is walkable to several great restaurants, shops, Ola Brewing, and 7-11(best musubi on the island). The bed was super comfortable. The space was clean, uncluttered, and felt larger than the description would insist. Loved the tv hidden in a frame with vintage Nintendo games and two wireless controllers. The hosts are responsive when asked a question. There was an unfortunate issue that happened on the grounds in front of the lanai while we were there. They addressed the issue showing aloha hospitality when things didn’t go perfectly. The scooters they have available for rent were in great condition and super convenient for getting distances that are borderline walkable. Hilo is a great little downtown. So many cool things to do and see! Mahalo, Joe and Cindy! We now love Hilo!
