Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Mountains right behind the house with several hiking opportunities, and the sea below. In summer, a sup board can be borrowed by agreement. The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 kitty cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, approx. 35 min by car. Can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 min. Time

Amazing views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. New functional cottage near Herand at Solsiden of Hardangerfjord. The cabin has 1 bedroom, sofa bed in the living room, kitchen and living room in one. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator and dining area with a fjord view. Out on the balcony you can enjoy panoramic fjord views and listen to the wind or the birds. The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.

We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.
