We had a great stay at Debbie’s! The accommodation was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Kate was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful location but very isolated from any shops and towns to visit, definitely more of a cabin to relax at than to explore the local areas.

Caron was very easy to deal with and so friendly and accommodating. I was left free range eggs and an ample supply of feijoas from her lushious feijoa tree. It was so peaceful therenand what a gorgeous area Waihi is. My baby girl and I walked around and we had guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, chickens, ducks and ducklings all around to admire and observe. Loved it and will definitely stay again. Thanks Caron.

John and his wife were super friendly in welcoming us and it was a lovely stay right on the water!

We enjoyed our stay at Rose and Steve’s studio. The place was very comfortable and well set up for the two of us. There is an extra bedroom with two single bunks in it, service Studio could accommodate a group up to 4 people but that might be a little crowded. It had everything we needed. With TV, Wi-Fi, dining table, lounge chairs, kitchenette, and bathroom. Rose and Steve were very helpful with recommendations on local restaurants, dining and places to visit. Rose even went to the trouble of baking some chocolate brownies which my partner enjoyed. We would like to come back to Whangamata again and would have no hesitation staying at Studio 220.

Friendly and proactive hosts 😊 Great location, plenty of space inside and games even if the weather takes a turn! Unexpected surprise of fresh farm milk awaiting us in the fridge. What more could you ask for?

Exactly what we expected. The weather didn’t play the game but can’t blame the host for that! Host was very accommodating and allowed an early check in due to our circumstances. Would stay again, highly recommend.

Had an awesome stay at Kotuku. Beautiful surroundings and the airbnb was lovely. The owners were kind enough to provide fresh milk from their diary which was a absolute treat!!

We loved Robyn’s place - we felt right at home and the theme of the place was really cool. The darts board was a great touch and the apartment was in a really peaceful and quiet neighbourhood but close enough to the restaurants and beach! Robyn was an incredibly nice and helpful host, and did us a massive favour on our last day with the late check out so that we could make the most of our last few hours in the country soaking up the sun at the beach! We would definitely stay here again and thank you so much for an awesome stay!

Loved Gordons place in Wentworth Valley. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay and a great location to get to Whangamata. Gordon was a great host too, we'll hopefully be back again!

We loved staying at Martins, was perfect for our needs and would definitely book again as it was very comfortable and had everything we needed, along with a very comfortable bed. Being able to pull our vehicle up onto the car pad was a nice extra as well. Thanks for having us stay, we’ll definitely be back when in the area.

We LOVED our stay! Katrina had thought of everything you may need and it was the perfect little escape for the weekend. The private swimming hole was magical. Our dogs absolutely loved it too - we will be back! Thank you 🤩

If you are lucky enough to get a booking at Chartre Cottage we believe you will be very happy! Anna-Marie is a lovely generous host, who goes out of her way to provide a wonderful holiday experience! The cottage is also a bed and breakfast and Anna-Marie provides delicious foods for you to prepare yourself when you desire. The kitchenette is well stocked and easy to make simple meals in. The decor is lovely and includes a very comfortable bed, large bathroom, beautiful sitting area with views from the hill overlooking Thames and stunning sunsets. They have two adorable sheep and chickens to add to the fun. She does one of my favorite things hosts do is label the light switches so you don’t have to guess and she has excellent instructions for you to follow as well as good suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. You park right outside your door for easy access. We highly recommend Chartre Cottage for couples who desire to have a peaceful and lovely place to stay for holiday!

There was a conflict with the booking, but instead of canceling us John and Shirlee accommodated us in another house. Hosts were super friendly, and nice! The location is peaceful, and beautiful views from the deck, and ocean views from the kitchen. Highly recommend this place!

Bruce was great and so welcoming to me and my dog. The place had everything we needed and only a few minutes drive from the beach.

Amazing!! We had a picnic right in front of the beach and the house :) Fiona and Dave are very friendly and their house is amazing, got everything you need!!

Clean, well equipped communal kitchen, helpful and had enjoyed talking to her about kiwi cultures, food guide n travel tips.
