Well what a hidden gem! It’s like a home away from home visiting Whanau it was absolutely beautiful tranquility the host it’s next level Marie and Frank! Big bonus two massive bags of Avocados for the Whanau totally highly recommended to anyone wanting a getaway close to home!

Michele's place was exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay. I have no hesitation recommending the Master's Chambers for any couple visiting Katikati.

It was our second stay at Cherie's place and it was just as great as the first time around 🥰🥰🥰 Friendly, welcoming and lovely hosts 🥰🥰🥰🥰 The cabin was very clean, very spacious and well equiped. The bed was big and comfortable. Very quiet, so perfect for a good night's sleep. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay here very much! Thank you ☺️🥰

Caron was very easy to deal with and so friendly and accommodating. I was left free range eggs and an ample supply of feijoas from her lushious feijoa tree. It was so peaceful therenand what a gorgeous area Waihi is. My baby girl and I walked around and we had guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, chickens, ducks and ducklings all around to admire and observe. Loved it and will definitely stay again. Thanks Caron.

Wow, what a great place to stay. Very peaceful, (well except for the birds). Neil is a wonderful host and the little cottage was beautiful and very clean. Lots of nice treats on arrival. Try Neil's 'So Hot' chilli sauce. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at The Dome, lovely and private but close to restaurants and lots to do. Amir was a great host. The alpacas were an added bonus. Highly recommend if you are looking for something a bit different!

Christine’s place is a wee gem. Beautiful part of the country and so cosy and private. Would definitely come back and stay again.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Sarah and James’ place. The cottage was simple but comfortable. The basic kitchen was very adequate for the food preparation we did over our stay. Highlights were the spectacular views and cozy living room with terrific fireplace (wood burning stove) that we used on most nights. Sarah was very responsive and recommended several beautiful hikes and walking trails that started from their pasture land and went up a mountain for great views and meandered beside the local river. Waihi, the nearest town for shopping, was 15 minutes drive. Waihi Beach, a beautiful beach for relaxing, swimming, and walking was uncrowded and about 25 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had an awesome weekend at Shae's cabin. The location is beautiful and the cabin itself feels very private and serene. It had everything we needed, and felt pretty luxurious for lo-fi living! We particularly enjoyed the views across the valley and stargazing from the top level, as well as the lovely outdoor dining space. There is lots to do in the area and we appreciated the local recommendations from Shae. We would definitely come back and will be recommending Shae's place to our friends.
