Folks, the House of Olives is first class in every way. Beautiful location, beautiful home, It was a wonderful week hosted by some very nice folks!

Cute, warm and comfortable cabin that has everything you need for a restful getaway in this area. I especially like how welcoming the host is and the homemade baked treats she left for me.

Phenomenal location and great host. Spent New Years and enjoyed walking across the street for dinner. Thoughtful decorations, handy second cottage for our relatively Newlyweds. Husband enjoyed the big screen. I enjoyed walking nearby and of course the overall ambiance of Mt Shasta. Crystal clear view day one, fresh snow to ski day 2. Perfect!

Barbara’s place was great and exactly what we needed for the weekend! It was peaceful and clean, and close to all of our planned activities.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was cozy and the kitchen was stocked well for cooking needs. Easily walkable to several restaurants and a couple local grocery stores, plus some fun shops to check out. I was very pleased with how close this was located to many hikes and other outdoor activities I wanted to do during my stay. One critique I have is the hot tub that is listed as private for the Harmony house is in a shared yard that connects the other rentals on this property and doesn't seem clear that it is intended only for guests of the Harmony house. It feels communal with no fencing or privacy screen and renters from the other properties seem to think it's shared for the other houses as well. It does cost a little extra to have the hot tub included in this rental so it's unfortunate that it isn't truly private and I ended up paying for strangers to use it. That said I still had a great stay and would recommend this place to others and I would definitely rent here again.

At Janet’s place, you don’t just stay—you truly feel like you belong. There’s a deep sense of connection, of being part of something bigger. Black Butte stands in its perfect triangular shape outside the kitchen window, and Mt. Shasta sits in full view from the living room, like a quiet guardian blessing the space. Light flows through the house, bringing warmth and a peaceful presence. With open views of Mt. Shasta, it feels like nature is gently holding and guiding you. You can witness sunrises, sunsets, moonrises, and moonsets—all from one spot. That alone is such a gift. The location is ideal—calm and quiet, yet close to town and everything you need. Janet’s local tips were helpful and added to the experience. She communicates with kindness and clarity. The space is clean, peaceful, and energetically aligned. You can feel it’s held with care and intention. The presence of St. Germain’s energy is subtle but strong. Highly recommend—and we’d love to come back.

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the ski park and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My parents are currently staying at this accommodation long-term, and they’ve been absolutely loving their experience so far. From the moment they arrived, they felt welcomed and at ease. Jacque’s attentiveness to detail is truly exceptional—she responds promptly to any questions or concerns, and always goes the extra mile to ensure everything is just right. The home itself is clean, well-equipped, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood that has brought them peace of mind and comfort. With two months left in their stay, my parents are genuinely looking forward to continuing to enjoy this wonderful space. We’re so grateful to have found a place that feels like home away from home.
