Monthly Rentals in Hastingleigh

We loved the place. We felt like we were at home. The house itself has got that welcoming feeling that when you’re inside you just wanna stay indoor. It was warm and cozy. We loved the scenery outside as well.

The house is in a very pretty location, surrounded by fields and horses all around, and the nearby pub was excellent, just a short walk away. My only difficulty was that the house has lots of lovely trinkets and knick-knacks on display, which could be very charming but when I visited with children I felt constantly worried about breaking things and had to move a lot of things out of reach! I would advise it's better for older kids, not babies or toddlers, but that's only to protect the host's items and furniture. The garden was also beautiful!

A lovely few days at Hazel cottage. The cottage was clean, light, very peaceful and it had everything we needed to make it a home from home. We enjoyed a couple of evening meals in the garden, some lovely walks along the North Downs Way with some very nice lunches at pubs along the way. I felt very comfortable allowing my dog to roam around the garden, which was very secure - he met his first hedgehog there l. Claudia and her partner were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Bryan and Katy were very hospitable - gave us tips on walking routes and good pubs nearby. Their garden is open to the cottage too, with lots of wild garlic and bluebells in the woods. The cottage is perfect, very cosy, comfy and private. Our dog loved it, he felt very much at home. The homemade bread and jam was a nice touch too.
