This is our second stay at this location, and we really enjoy it! The view is amazing and its really close to state parks and even Manhattan if you want to go out. Very relaxing!!

Absolutely loved our stay! Peaceful location, great outdoor spaces and well thought-out interior design. Close enough to town that we could go have dinner, but far enough away that it felt like a retreat from the world! Joel was a fantastic host and communicated very thoroughly. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come again!

Amazing host! Everything you could think of needing, was provided. Even snacks! And lots of them! It was so beautiful and peaceful. Beds, linen and pillows so comfy. She most definitely thought of everything to make it feel like home.

My sister and I have stayed at Troy’s several times and it never disappoints. It’s cozy and comfortable and quiet. Plenty of room for our scrapbooking. Two very comfortable bedrooms. Outdoor space to sit and lots of areas to walk. Only 10 minutes from town. We always hate when it’s time to leave. Highly recommend!!!

We had the most amazing time at this lake house! The property was peaceful and clean. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfy beds and cozy blankets. The host was incredibly responsive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great little getaway spot on a peaceful lake. We sat on the dock and looked up at the stars without city light pollution, built a fire, went fishing and grilled some steaks. The amenities at “the cottage” were plentiful with a few bonuses like very tall ceilings, a very new and functional air/heat machine, a wine tasting, no bugs or ant issues at all and even a few friendly cats who came to say hello. We plan to stay here again in the future and are thankful to Brad and his family for hosting such a nice retreat!

Our stay here was just perfect for a retreat space for a small group of folks. Everyone slept well and the layout was prefect with ample shared bathrooms. The kitchen was a perfect hangout spot and allowed us to prep some meals in a great common space. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean and spacious, and it had all the amenities we needed. They even provided a PacNPlay and booster seat for our little one which made the stay so much easier!
