Nice stay in Hana, house is above town, which makes for a nice breeze and distant views of ocean. it's on a slightly busy road but set off it, so feels private. We did walk along it but there are no side walks so not really a pedestrian area. Near the beach and 1/2 mile from some decent food trucks. Kitchen well stocked, so easy to cook there. electric grill appreciated.

Great house at a great location. Stay here if you want the best experience on the island. Don't stay here if you love AC and hate animals.

My only complaint was I only booked 2 nights in this magical place. Highly recommend booking this home for a stay in Hana. The location couldn’t be beat- just up the street from Waiʻānapanapa State Park (although you are required to have reservations and park there if you’re not a Hawaii resident). The house is fully equipped with everything you need- all kitchen appliances and utensils to prepare food, bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, plenty of bath towels and beach towels, a washer & dryer, beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. just bring your swimsuit and toothbrush and you are good to go! We loved the space to roam and explore on the property and the amazing lanai to take in the views. Very comfortable and beautiful home. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again!

My only regret is not staying longer. The sounds of the ocean and rainforest were so peaceful and the outdoor shower and bathtub were amazing. We walked to Hamoa Bay which was a gem and loved the fresh tropical flower arrangements and the ocean view.
