Just as last time, a truly awesome stay to spend some time in the north. It's got everything you need, a great design making for a truly cozy feel, and an absolutely astonishing view. The location is perfect for exploring the area, the Lofoten, Narvik and even Lapland being in reach. The host and his family are extremely kind and welcoming, providing everything you need, with great communication. Thanks for the great time and until next time 😊

Erling might be one of the friendliest hosts I met. Was super welcoming and friendly as well as having great local recommendations he can talk you through or just provided in a little guide book. The barn itself is lovely to stay in, with amazing views and not too far from the things to do in the area.

We had a lovely time at the Captain’s Cabin. It is a peaceful and cozy cabin in a fjord. The kitchen was really well equipped. The space was good for two people, and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and we saw the northern lights two times in a row. The deck outside the cabin is great for eating dinner or having a coffee with a great view. There’s an amazing ship artwork nearby with benches and a fire pit by the water. Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful and outdoorsy holiday to decompress and escape from reality for a while. We would love to return in future. Recommend you bring a car for this location and be OK with self catering which was good for us. There’s a small shop nearby but not too many restaurants unless you drive for an hour to the nearest bigger town.
