Vacation rentals with a kayak in Hamlin Lake

The home was beautiful and our stay was not long enough!

We enjoyed two nights along the river, which is accessible directly from the property. Beautiful location, was perfect for our weekend getaway and had a fantastic backyard.

Very comfortable and well stocked with paper supplies and cleaning supplies. We went for a girls weekend. It was the perfect set up. We loved the covered hot tub since it rained quite a bit while we were there. Loved the open kitchen for late night, snacks, and games. Everything was perfect.

This was the perfect location to stay for our fall golf trip to Arcadia Bluffs. A beautiful home less than 20 minutes to the course. Highly recommended.

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

From the word GO Michelle(Mike🥰) was the best hostess. She and her husband both treated us like family and were very gracious to our needs. Superb people to rent from and the accommodations!! In my grandson’s words …. We are making this a tradition ❤️

Lovely home on Rose Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Home has plenty of room for a family of 5 .(3 adults and 2 kids) The kiddos loves the hammock in the backyard by the water and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. A definite add to our favorites list. Will stay again and recommend to our other family when they stay up here.

Perfect in every way! Great location, cozy beds and sparkling clean. I was lucky to visit in snow season but can only imagine how beautiful it is Imi the summer.

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

Great little cozy cottage in a secluded community. Stayed here in early April so didn’t get to take advantage of the beach/gazebo/firepit, but they looked very nice. Nice location close enough to the city but is off the main drag. Would love to stay here again!

This was my 2nd stay at Mandy’s. Everything was perfect as usual. The place is cozy and comfortable.

This place was a little piece of heaven! The view was amazing and it was so peaceful and quiet. It has everything you need and more! We loved being able to go out in the fishing boat and use the kayaks. The fishing was so great, we caught them right off the dock and out on the boat. They included wood for the fire pit which was used everyday and it had so much seating outside that was very comfortable. So much nature to see including bald eagles and the view of the stars was incredible. We had such a great time playing pool and ping pong! We cooked meals everyday and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was very clean and cozy! Tracie the host was so proactive with her communication and responded immediately when we had any questions. If you are looking to unplug and spend some real quality time this is the place! We are so grateful Tracie and Chad opened up their cottage to share and can’t wait to get the chance to go back!!

The log cabin was fabulous. It was perfectly appointed and, even though not quite warm enough outside just yet, Bar Lake made all stress subside.

We love staying here! It is so private, peaceful, cozy, and perfect for what we look for in a little vacation. Joannah is a great, responsive host. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. She leaves tons of local recommendations for you to discover. The hot tub on the river is exactly what we needed and look forward to! We’ve been back a few times and will hopefully return.

Lovely place, cabin was very cozy and fully equipped with all the amenities, truly a wonderful experience for the wife and I, would 100% stay again..

The cabin on the river was a perfect fall getaway. It was very peaceful, the house was comfortable and perfectly matched all descriptions. The fire-pit out back made an absolutely lovely evening. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Midge was an incredible host, extremely friendly and hopeful. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated for the holidays, with beautiful views on the local lake! This was the perfect staycation for our family & we look forward to all the future stays.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.
