Great cabin in a wonderful area. We were there at the end of the ski season so there wasn’t much snow but the hikes around the cabin were awesome. Marius was a great host, excellent communication and super helpful. The cabin itself felt like home, very cosy and equipped with everything you need.

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

This place was fantastic for our first Norway trip! One of our best AirBNB stays ever! We had 16 people, adults and kids, and this space was comfortable for everyone. Lots to do also - we went dogsledding, skiing, cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, ice climbing, and took advantage of their sledding hill which was pretty epic. Wish we could have stayed for another week.

Vi var en familie med 5 børn og seks voksne som lejede hytten i en uge for at stå på langrend. Hytten var helt perfekt ekstremt autentisk og godt indrettet. Udsigten fra hytten er usammenlignelig. Skal du på Alpin er det enkelt at komme til Solheisen kun 3 km derfra. Vi kørte ud fra hytten hver dag og fandt gode langrendsløyper indenfor en halv time i bil.

Beautiful cottage, plenty of room for the four of us. We had everything we needed and it was great to be so close to the skisenter! We would love to stay again 😊

We hebben genoten van een heerlijke kerst in het huis van Iver. Het is erg mooi, sfeervol ingericht en schoon. Iver had het het huisje helemaal in kerstsfeer gebracht. Genoeg ruimte voor 2 gezinnen. Prachtige omgeving. Heerlijk kunnen sleeen en langlaufen. Iver reageerde altijd snel en was zeer behulpzaam.

Wir - eine 5-köpfige Familie mit Hund - haben Weihnachten und Silvester in Kariannes gemütlicher Hütte verbracht. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt, die Hütte ist gemütlich eingerichtet und war bereits warm bei der Anreise. Man findet wirklich alles, was man braucht. Da die Hütte auch von der Eigentümerin und ihrer Familie genutzt wird, darf man sich an privaten Gegenständen nicht stören. Uns hat das nichts ausgemacht. Der kleine gusseiserne Ofen im Wohnzimmer war hervorragend und man konnte mit ihm praktisch fast die ganze Hütte heizen. Der weite Blick von der Hütte ins Tal und die Berge ist fantastisch. Der Schnee war leider nicht so üppig, aber Karianne hatte uns darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass es im Tal eine gespurte und präparierte Loipe gibt. Zum Glück kam in der Silvesternacht dann doch noch Neuschnee. Von der Hütte erreicht man per Auto die höher gelegenen Loipen, man kann jedoch auch von der Hütte auf Wanderwegen durch das Hüttengebiet nach Tempelseter laufen.

Cabin with a great location and amazing lake and mountain views right next to the cross country skiing tracks. The outdoor jacuzzi offers a fantastic break from skiing by relaxing in great surroundings.
