Candice and Richards's Volcano Haven is fantastic! It is so peaceful nestled into the forest where you can fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the forest. The house is very well laid and Candice & Richard have thought of everything. Everything was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Candice was so nice making sure we were comfortable and giving us volcano viewing tips and keeping us up to date on the eruption. We would come back to Hawaii just to stay here again!

Upon checking in, a complimentary good wine greeted us (a very nice touch). The house has a lot of small kitchen appliances (air fryer, blender, rice cooker, etc), is nice and clean with a just couple of areas that were missed, like the lanai bedsheet was dirty, I had to wash it myself but no big deal. Also the bbq grill was rusty and was never cleaned but Noel resolved this by getting a new grill for us. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Noel and September’s place despite running across a couple of issues, like the said bbq grill and the dishwasher stopped working on our 1st week. Noel did try his best to fix it but unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed during the rest of our stay which is such an inconvenience for a travelling family with two toddlers. I was able to resolved the dishwasher issue through AirBnB support team. I would suggest to anyone that if something is broken during your stay, gather as much as evidence that it’s not your fault so that no one can turn it against you.

Everything was great and convenient! We loved our stay in the lovely cabin, clean and cosy. The hot outdoor shower was amazing, the nature sounds very peaceful. We loved having Domino coming to say hi! Would 100% recommend :)

We chose Annabelle's place as it was near our friends' house, a very good decision! We most enjoyed the quiet and being able to raise the huge door to let the outside in. The garden and surrounding areas are lovely. The bed is very comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, and Annabelle is a good resource. The WiFi works well. And there's a ping pong table, too! Slight quirks- no hanging space other than hooks by the front door, and the sole sink is in the kitchen. We adapted. The neighborhood feels private and safe- we never locked the door, even when we were gone all day. Would definitely return!
