The accommodation is fenced under a large chestnut tree with its own garden. Private parking for 3 cars. It is 7-8 km to Fredrikstad or Sarpsborg city center. Bus to Fredrikstad once per hour. The floor area on the 1st floor is approx. 115 m². Here, there are two large bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a laundry room, and a newly renovated bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms. Sleeping/dining area for 10 people. A high chair and a toddler bed for children are available. We ourselves live right next to the rental house, and we do not want loud parties there.

Car charging is included in the rent, you must bring your own charging cable. From here you take 10 min to Gamlebyen, 15 min to Fredrikstad city center and 25 min to Svinesund. There is a short distance to swimming areas and the campsite and the convenience store is only a 10-minute walk away. The house is from 1850 and is completely renovated in 2022. How about resting at the Fortress, overlooking the city, close to everything you need? Haldenhytta has a charm you discover as soon as you see the place at the top of the cobblestone hill. Here the hiking areas at the Fortress meet the old town center. The host lives here partially himself, so some private things will be visible. It is possible to rent rooms for a cheaper price if guests want to stay here while the host is at home. The house in the lush garden is located on the pilgrim's trail. Hikers with pilgrim passes are asked to state this.

Large lawn outside and on the other side of the road is the wharf. The ferry to Hamburgo is located around 100m south.

Renovated spacious and practical house with room for many. In addition to the Bohuslän idyll, there is a fenced plot with hammock, hot tub, outdoor kitchen with large grill and Italian pizza oven. In addition, it is close to sea bathing, fishing, paddling with our two kayaks and walking distance to our charming local restaurants (Havstenssunds Bistro and Skaldjurcaffeet). It is 8 km to Grebbestad where there is a rich selection of restaurants and shops that are open all year round.
