Monthly Rentals in Hackthorpe

Loved our stay in the cabin. It’s the sweet spot between being off-grid and not sacrificing on comfort. Caught a really stunning sunrise sat on the porch under some of the blankets. Very easy to get in and set up with a helpful video and nice host. We hope to be back!

An absolutly gorgeous little place. It had everything we needed and was so cosy. We were given clear instructions how to get there to. Lovely walking routes around and alwo found a running route. We would definitely book again. Thankyou!!

Stayed for one night and it was just what we needed. Very clean on arrival (with very cute cats welcoming us), clear instructions on how to get there and easy check out.

We had a wonderful time! The thoughtful welcome basket (the homemade Victorian sponge cake with raspberries and clotted cream, along with the local bread, butter and milk) made me feel so welcomed. You can tell Daniel really takes great care of the place and its visitors. Our children loved the games. It’s just a five minute drive from Lowther Castle, where we started our walk to Ullswater, and only a minute’s walk to the fantastic George and Dragon pub.
