The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

House on two levels on our farm. Ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen. In the living room, there is a sofa (convertible), a dining table, a TV, a wood-burning stove for cold winter days, and a half bath. The bedroom is accessed via a ladder. A large bed (180 x 200) and a standard bed (90 x 200) are provided, as well as a bathroom with a bathtub. In front of the house, there is a construction site. Parking in front of the main house; Wi-Fi and satellite TV available. NO dogs allowed!

The pool is open from June 1st to August 31st! Depending on the weather, from May 1st to September 15th and is also accessible to another holiday apartment! Unlimited Wifi! This cabin is located at the south-end of a large garden. A shopping-center is in the neighborhood and a public-pool is 800 meters away. The Reinhardswald (Forest) is just 900 meters away. This house is not barrier-free! ADULTS ONLY (ab 16 Jahren)! The bed is 1.60m wide!

Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
