A well-located, quiet, clean and well-equipped place to stay. We would recommend it any time.

We spent a nice week in this refined and very well-equipped house. Nothing was missing despite the purist design (hardly any pictures on the walls, no cabinets, but instead very good pillows, cozy sofa, good beds, great fireplace & plenty of wood, good garden furniture, top kitchen equipment). Overall highly recommended with great excursion opportunities to Kirchberg, Rotenburg, Schwäbisch Hall etc...

The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful spacious accommodation. The room is not super big, but because it was very nice weather, we only sat outside. This is more than made up for by the large kitchen and even larger fenced garden. Everything was clean and there were many basic products present above expectations. The BBQ is amazing!

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. Especially nice: dogs are welcome! I would be happy to book again anytime – highly recommended!

Very nice cottage in quiet surroundings. You can quickly reach many beautiful hiking trails. There was everything you need for everyday life and it is very comfortably furnished.

A beautiful, old half-timbered house, stylishly restored and furnished, awaited us. Martin was a very accommodating and friendly host with tips for things to do nearby (restaurants, adventure playground, swimming spots on the surrounding lakes, etc.) The horses in the yard and the garden with playground equipment were of course a special highlight for our children. There was also plenty of space in the house and plenty of play and entertainment options. For us parents, local beer and wine specialties were waiting in the "minibar". So there was something for everyone. We'd love to come back anytime!

It was our second stay and confirmed our high appreciation of the flat and the host.

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! Very nicely located house, garden very nice, but access roads very overgrown that you got stuck with clothes in the thorns of the roses. Kitchen better equipped than expected. Flour, spices, kitchen scale, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, garbage bags for "normal" basic equipment. Unfortunately no microwave.

It was great. We had a great break, lots of nature, great scenery, beautiful lakes, every shortage to discover. Beautiful apartment with everything you need. Super nice hosts. We are grateful for the wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

All good. Rooms are all individually lockable, so be careful not to lock yourself out at night (code was directly above the lock, so not bad). And you should be aware that the pool and garden are of course also used by the residents. Nevertheless, it was very nice that you could use it as a guest.

A large. clean apartment with everything you need for a nice holiday. Towels are changed in between if needed. The landlords are very thoughtful and kind. We would book the apartment again at any time.

Everything was great! Beate is a very attentive host. Every little thing is thought out. In summer, the accommodation is a pleasure, in the heat it is cool and comfortable.

Melanie was a great host! She was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and other requests. Her response time was very quick. She is wonderful!

A great place to stay. The house is large and open, while maintaining the old structures and renovated substance. The old floorboards are a feast for the eyes. Equipped with the latest comforts. Thank you.

We felt very comfortable in Mavie's apartment. A special feature is the English fireplace, which spreads a cozy feeling and comfort. From the house you can take beautiful hikes and in the nearby area there are beautiful towns with good gastronomy. Highly recommended!

Bruce is super responsive and considerate. The surroundings are quiet and you can be assured of good night sleep.

Doris' accommodation is great for a short getaway with a dog and you almost feel at home. The restaurant on the ground floor bakes delicious pizza and the salad is also great. Of course, you can hear the hustle and bustle on the weekend, but after 10 pm almost nothing - it didn't bother me. I met the immediate neighbors briefly and both were super friendly! The kitchen is functionally furnished and I could easily prepare my food.

The accommodation was exactly as described and is highly recommended! What far exceeded my expectations is the location: nestled in a gently hilly, partly wooded, partly heathland landscape, my hiking heart beat faster. There are numerous places worth seeing (castle ruins, a former Monastery, bathing pond, etc.), which you can explore directly from the accommodation on beautiful hiking trails. By car, you can quickly reach other picturesque and very interesting places that are not only worth a visit: Nördlingen, Burg Harburg, Bopfingen, Wemding, Katzenstein or Neresheim with an abbey church whose ceiling frescoes by Martin Knoller are unparalleled!!! On the trips there, I have come across so many other promising places and regions, so that there is still a lot to discover for future visits :) I am not least grateful to my always friendly hostess Elke for the delicious restaurant tips!

Rossini’s place was perfect for our blissful trip to Germany. The apartment was perfect for us. Spacious, clean, and our host was very accessible. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

The week in Solnhofen with Bruno was great. The place is ideal for exploring the Altmühltal and its surroundings in a variety of ways. We hiked, took bike tours, and took trips by train to larger and smaller cities. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to paddle on the Altmühl. From a culinary point of view, we liked the café of the Solnhofen Klosterbrot (so delicious!) and the restaurant "Alte Schule" in the village itself. The Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum is definitely worth a visit. The apartment is great - very well equipped, clean, cozy. We felt very comfortable. And we always felt well informed and supported by our landlord. A clear recommendation - also for us, if we are drawn to the Altmühltal again.
