Monthly Rentals in Gunby

Wow, what can I say…..I booked this purely based on Airbnb reviews and was not proven wrong. My sons and I enjoyed such a lovely, peaceful night in Wren Lodge in the sunshine, in the company of the alpacas that we didn’t want to leave the next morning. Absolute gem of a place, exactly as described. We will be back and next time for longer than a night ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Firstly, I must say that the property was absolutely beautiful. The furnishings and equipment level in the kitchen and throughout were top notch. I would absolutely recommend this property to most but there are some things you might need to know: The property is dog friendly but does not have an enclosed garden, it's open to the lane which is used frequently by local dog walkers. It's easy for dogs to roam into the neighbouring properties' garden spaces - and for their dogs to roam into yours. That meant we were unable to enjoy the outdoor space as not all visiting dogs and owners were friendly to our dog. The property does not advertise itself as suitable for disabled travellers but I'd hoped with the downstairs facilities it would be ok for my father - he's wheelchair bound and unable to walk. The bed was too high for him to get up into and the shower was inacessible due to the position of the toilet and sink. If you have mobility issues, check first before booking.

After a long trip from towns and ports you arrive. Suddenly free from all the burdens and noise. The place you found is located in the British countryside dotted with charming villages, good food and services. With just a few steps outside the old Chapel; the moonlit sky and a perfect place for the morning light to dance. Around the corner, an enclosed parking for when you want to rest. A surprise visit of friends finds this space just big enough for two cars. Come on inside. Light a fire. Tell some stories. They are welcome, but only temporary. Because this place is for us.
