just as the host said and the other reviewers. this is a pleasant apartment right in the middle of town. it is dated and I missed ac but the fan worked fine. the biggest issue was the location is quite noisy. the room is in the back and so it wasn't a big deal for me.

Great place to stay!!! As a first time international solo traveler, I felt extremely safe and comfortable. I arrived at almost midnight, and Mel (on site concierge) was waiting to ensure I made it. I saw an agouti, monkeys, and a coati all on property. I even spent time with Mellow (the cat 😻). Host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout my entire experience. Shops and food within walking distance and parking for your car. Would highly recommend and hopefully will be returning in the future!! Pura Vida!! ☀️

With the exception of one security guard, who was much more interested in poor decision making, I always love staying in this Airbnb and location. My only recommendation, would be to please have a serious discussion with the administration of the facility to be more flexible with visitors. I run an active association in Costa Rica which provide transportation to visitors in Costa Rica, and I have a number of employees who I met with to discuss, how the business is doing and most important what I must do in the US to increase the travel tourism from New York and Florida. I know sometimes its a little difficult but communication is critical, in order for me to continue to utilize the services at this location. I'm sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused, however, the person who was registered with me at the facility, as included in my party and it is not the first time, she has accompanied me at this facility. Most of all thank you for making the last minutes addition.

Like the other times, David's apartments are excellent and, in addition, he is an extremely communicative and attentive gentleman. This accommodation was super, it adapts to the basic needs to have the best time

We stayed two nights at Sonia’s place and we loved it. The house had a luxury vibe, it was beautifully decorated. Kitchen has more things than you needed. Initially I used Waze to navigate and it took me to a wrong location. Then I noticed the instructions from Sonia to use google maps which brought me to the right location. It is 10 -12 minutes drive from city center and part of the road is unpaved.

We have been going to Punta Leona for 10 years consistently… always staying in hotel…. But this time we wanted something a bit more private and chose to stay at our favorite beach Playa Blanca and this close by airbnb. We got everything we were looking for! Privacy, beauty, comfort and care. All the hosts were so kind and attentive and welcomed us with fruit and coffee for our stay. The apartment was so great that we even took the time to look at other units for a next time with more people. Thank you! Thank you for allowing us to share in your space and take a deep breath. It was beautiful and relaxing. The access to Playa Blanca is wonderful. Yes there is a long long staircase down and we preferred the street to come back up. The pool was refreshing and despite the construction of the bathrooms there we had a great time and were grateful for the Punta Leona hotel bracelets to give us access to the restaurants at night. We’ll be back for sure.

Perfect place for a few days in San Jose! I received clear instructions and check-in went very smoothly. In a great location with close access to restaurants and also central San Jose. The flat was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

Room with kitchen in this giant "hostel" of rare quality. The common areas are great, special mention to the hidden Red Room, incredible. Very nice pool and super nice, quiet and trendy neighborhood with plenty of good places. A great find.

The place is right on a main avenue so expect some noise, other than that there's a lot of bars, restaurants, convenient stores around the neighborhood and it's pretty safe

I gotta say it was warm and welcoming. Loved how it was close to everything. Gyms, restaurants, banks, tour deal spots, a small walkable park beautifully landscaped with flowers. The communication with the host never delayed. Made my stay here so relaxing. Would definitely come back to this spot when I return again. Thank you!! Pura Vida! I need to move to this country 🇨🇷 🍻

A very spacious apartment in a peaceful location. Has everything you could need and or want for a good price in a better area of San Jose.

I stayed at Fabricios cabin for a couple of months. He was a good host and very accommodating and polite. The setting is peaceful.

The place is amazing, it has everything you need and is also very comfortable. If I go back to CR, I'll definitely book again.

Great place for short and long stay. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. Washer and dryer comes in very handy. Host was very helpful and cleaning lady very professional and respectful. Looking forward to staying again.

This place was best cost-benefit I could find in all San Pedro. It had everything I needed at an affordable price; host was available to support me as needed. Neighborhood is calm, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets reachable by walking. I'd stay again in this place in my next trips to Costa Rica.
