Such a beautiful place! Our 9yr old loved waking around the well maintained garden and my husband took some great pictures of the many hummingbirds around. Monica and her family are amazing hosts. Very helpful before and during our visit. She got us set up with all tours we wanted to take. And worked with us when we had to reschedule. One of the most memorable tours was of the Cloud Forest😄. Our guide Kevin was great, knowledgeable and fun. They have lovely handcrafted items in their shop, we bought some to gift to family back in the States. Overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

My family LOVED the Tarzan house. My children said it was the "funnest AirBnB" they have ever been to. We had so much fun zip lining into the pool and there were so many things to keep us entertained. The beds are big enough for 2 and we thought they were comfortable. Paul recommended a Mangrove tour where we got to see wild monkeys and get pictures with them (TONS of fun). Although the location was secluded, there is a local family owned restaurant 3 minutes from the Airbnb with great food and even better staff called "Ranchos Los Garrobos". If we have the chance to come to Costa Rica again, we will be booking with Paul. Thank you for hosting us!

Lana’s place is a great location. Easy walk to the beach. Very clean. Nice swimming pool. She showed us around, pointed out restaurants etc. and was very helpful with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend her place!

Wow! What an epically beautiful place. I highly recommend this AirBNB, Playa Negra, and Costa Rica. Words cannot express how awesome this trip was. We had a family of 5 (kids: 6,4,4). The beach and pool at the AirBNB were exceptional. And Playa Negra beach was very close for great wave action. The town of Playa Negra is charmingly perfect (coffee shop, a couple restaurants, small market). We are grateful for the experience.

lovely home in a lovely town with a lovely host! heilyn was very communicative and helpful with bus info. we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the company of the cats.

Harry was friendly, welcoming and easy to chat with. The place was just what we needed for our visit to La Fortuna.

David is the man! I stayed here for two months and loved it. Perfect for someone who's in PG to surf. I will be staying here again for sure. David is a great host and makes you feel welcome. Also, if you want to you can hang out with a cool dog, Tilo.

Great place loved the decor and all the amenities: Pool, jacuzzi, covered bbq and entertaining area, place work outside...Super close to the beach and very quiet........Super gem and great hosts!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Vicente and Juliana’s studio! They were wonderful hosts…very easy to get ahold of and so helpful with any questions we had. The studio was stylishly designed and perfectly matched the posted pictures! My favorite part was the open air shower! We felt very safe inside their gated community and all of the houses were stunning. The community was also very private and easily accessible with lots of amenities including the beach club and golf. Their home is close to restaurants, excellent surfing spots, and endless beaches. We would recommend Il Rustico for dinner, Floresta for coffee/breakfast, and Surgya Organic Market for specialty shopping. We would also recommend using the app Waze to get to the studio from the airport because other map apps weren’t working for us! We would definitely recommend booking with Vicente and Juliana and hopefully will be heading back to enjoy more of Costa Rica soon! :)

We were very positively surprised! From the covered terrace with great views over green hills, a glass door leads into the spacious kitchen and a second into the living area with bed, small sofa and adjoining bathroom. Everything was very new and modern. The hosts welcomed us personally and gave us information about the place as well as the surroundings. Also, for example, when we asked later for additional kitchen utensils, they responded very quickly and super friendly. But most of all, we had contact with the female dog who greeted us every morning on the terrace - we quickly became best friends. We would definitely return! We arrived by rental car and were glad that we had a little more ground clearance. The road to the property is only partially paved. Like most other roads away from the big main roads ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The unit is on the top (third) floor and has expansive views in all directions. The main wall of windows looks out towards the ocean and sunset. It was private and very spacious. Every morning it was entertaining to listen to and watch the numerous varieties of birds flying around. Everything was super clean, which I appreciate very much. There were lots of thoughtful touches; detailed binder with lots of info, umbrella (it didn't rain once), flashlight just in case, coffee, spices, shampoo & conditioner, and lots of books! Harriet and Adam were great hosts and made me feel welcome. They often checked with me to make sure all was comfortable and well (thank you!). I enjoyed participating in a yoga class that Harriet teaches in her on-site studio.

The room was perfect for a few nights and allowed us to cook most of our meals. Location is beautiful and easy to walk into town. Lili was an incredible host! She was always extremely responsive and friendly. She gave us tons of recomendaciones and helped us book a few tours for our time in Monteverde. The place was great and Lili made it even better!

Absolutely amazing place! Comfortable, modern, and high-tech — so clean you could eat off the floor. I had restful sleeps and and super productive work sessions. The shower was strong, warm, and never failed. Cristofer is a truly special person: friendly, enthusiastic, fully dedicated to his role as host, and a joy to chat with! He traveled everywhere as a digital nomad and understand all the hardship of this lifestyle. The location is authentic and quiet, hidden at the end of a road on a local family property, a 5-minute walk to Club Los Jaules where you'll find the BEST GYM EVER set in a natural environment. There's a local bus that takes you to Coronado, a charming town with cheap food spots and friendly locals (much better than San José center IMO). As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, even coming back late at night.

I highly recommend this place; it is definitely a peaceful place where you feel at home. The host was very kind, had a smooth check-in, and had clear instructions.

The photos don’t do this place justice! It’s quite large! We appreciated how extremely clean it was. The view off the deck is beautiful, and we also appreciated the covered parking. There was a plumbing issue during our stay where smelly gas would get pushed up from the shower at night, but it was resolved by covering the drain and David was super, super responsive through that, as well as when the breaker needed to be reset. There was even a cleaning during our 5 night stay, which we really appreciated! Cannot beat the ease of access to the beach and deli cafe’s delicious baked goods nearby. Wonderful hosts on all fronts!

Wonderful view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the marina. We would definitely stay again if we need a place in Quepos.

We had a nice stay at Susan and Victor's place. It was a nice place, in a nice neighborhood, and very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.

This is my second time staying here and the place never disappoints. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The environment is peaceful and relaxing and couldn’t have asked for a better host. John and his wife Yvonne went above and beyond checking on me after having a procedure and are absolutely delightful hosts! Looking forward to going back, will definitely stay there again and highly recommend!

I was alone with my dog and felt safe, the place is very quiet, beautiful and private. They 220v to charge electric carts. In addition to the place, Alonso is very communicative, good people and attentive.

The place was so beautiful 🥰 full of nature. The room was confortable and spacious. Marcela was super nice and gentle! 10/10 Super recommended
