Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Gulf of Nicoya

This house is lovely and the view is gorgeous. We spent much of our time on the porch enjoying the pool, hot tub and view. I highly recommend some time relaxing at the house. Fabian was very helpful in planning excursions. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of hot water! We also were grateful for enough seating for everyone in our party both outside and in the living room. We did have a 1 year old with us and that was challenging in the layout of the house but we made it work. Highly recommend this house and this area. So much to do! Do the daytime Mangrove tour and guided MA park tour. Pura Vida!

Chris is the Man! For context, my girlfriend and I had another bnb in the area that lost power and water for 2 days! I had to book an emergency stay and Chris accommodated and responded swiftly even though it was very short notice. We fell more in love with his property than our original one lol. 10/10 stay loved the vibezz.

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flower’s Paradise. Jarvey and Flor were gracious hosts, providing a tour of their family’s property, introducing my children to Max the Dog, sharing restaurant and activity recommendations and even offering to book activities for us. Jarvey shared small gifts each day - Costa Rican coffee, Flor’s delicious bread, fresh mora berries from Jarvey’s mora bush. These sweet surprises made us feel so special and cared for. We saw hummingbirds and agouti daily. We loved watching the clouds roll in and the afternoon rain from the covered balcony This home truly is paradise! Note: as others have mentioned, this view requires a drive up a steep hill. I appreciated having a 4x4 vehicle.

Beautiful property! Our family had a wonderful stay. Marlen was a very nice host and responsive to all our needs. We would highly recommend staying here. You get the secluded mountain feel while being close to the airport.

The location was less than a minute away from the beach. If you like running this is a great place to run on beach or run to Jaco scenic viewpoint. It was quiet and peaceful. It was not far from the restaurants and main city center. The place itself was great with WiFi and AC. I enjoyed resting here after a long day of activities. Spencer was a great host. We stayed one more night and he made it happen easily . I enjoyed that he wrote “Pura Vida” once everything was organized and set. Would stay here again.

The sunsets alone were worth every penny!! We raced back to the house every night just to watch the colors change. The house itself is quaint, clean, organized and quite perfect! It’s small but they have what is needed to hang your clothes as there is not a lot of room to leave open luggage. Our family ran and played on the quiet beach. I think we saw 5 people total.. great hard packed sand for morning and evening walks. There was a spot that was very dirty (glass, plastic, etc) from high tide that you would want to wear shoes to walk through. Giovanni was thorough in communications and quick to respond! His directions were very much appreciated. We knew there weren’t a ton of amenities nearby. But it’s no joke, when you leave the house pack what you need as it’s not near activities and has very limited eating. Not an issue for most - just a heads up!

Leonardo and Pablo were both extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The view on a sunny day in the pool was definitely the highlight of the entire stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would stay again! All the puppies in the immediate area were also a huge highlight for us! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Also, highly recommend visiting Container Platz for delicious variety of food trucks and a great date night/family night out atmosphere. Something for everyone there!

Great studio room located in Marvista. Very close to Flamingo beach. Trails right out your back door and a gym that's only a 4 min walk away. Room had everything we needed for my husband and I. Colleen is a very responsive host and made everything very easy. Would stay again.

A great base for a couple exploring the Monteverde area. The studio is well equipped & very comfortable. The location is great, easy to drive to, also easy to walk to restaurants & shops in Santa Elena. The floor to ceiling windows in the studio give great forest views & we saw many birds. Highly recommended.

Disfrutamos mucho la estancia, estaba en una excelente ubicación, es muy segura, linda y cómoda nos encantó como cuidan cada detalle de la casa. Además la comunicación fue excelente desde el principio. Definitivamente es un lugar al que nos encantaría volver!

Excelente alojamiento!!! Nos encantó Nautilus. Es ideal para estancias largas. Techos altos, departamento amplio, baño grande, cama grande, buen aire acondicionado, el personal muy amigable, buen wifi, buenos implementos de cocina. La piscina exquisita. Realmente lo recomiendo. Muy bien ubicado! Nos fuimos muy felices.

No words can quite describe the magical experience of staying in this beautifully crafted treehouse. The view is incredible, but it is the tasteful and rustic personal touches that make the space feel so cozy and inviting. Peter was a welcoming, responsive, and kind host, and all of the love and craftsmanship with which he and his family have created their homestead is evident in every corner of this spectacular place. From waking up and watching the sunrise over the ocean from our crows nest bed, to taking a warm outdoor shower at twilight in the rain, to stargazing at night while lightning storms danced on the horizon, each moment was better than the next. The casita was equipped with everything one could need, and we were very comfortable with the fan at night. Thank you again Peter and Santiago for everything.

Our time at Danta Santa was truly amazing ! We loved how private the location felt and how beautiful it was. The pictures looked exactly like the pictures and somehow in person it was more breathtaking! Although it rained a lot during our stay we didn’t mind because the Airbnb was truly our own oasis. We loved that we had the option to have the place fully opened or closed. The space was perfect for a couple trying to get away from a crowded city. We loved that everything was nearby, such as the restaurants and activities. Everything was 20 mins away or less. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, modern and cozy place to stay! We will definitely be retuning and booking Danta Santa.

I couldn’t have had a better experience with Laura and the place itself, pictures don’t do it enough justice. Laura was very helpful in giving recommendations from before the trip on shuttle services and car/golf cart rentals to during my stay with restaurants and activities to do! 10/10 experience altogether

The place was exactly what we needed for our vacation. It was convenient and in a quiet safe place away from the hustle and bustle from the down town of Coco. We had a car and a parking spot and we were a few blocks away from the closest restaurant. We were the only ones there for the week. The other units were not occupied and we had the pool to our selves. The pool was nice to cool off at the end of the day. The unit had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great.

This condo was exceptionally clean with a beautiful view. It was a very brief walk to the Main Street. Everything was literally five minute walk. They are picky with who they host (with good reason) because of how pristine it is. Thank you :)

Josephine communicated clearly and timely. The condo met my family's need. We needed a place to relax after some days of intense hikes in other regions. The pool was lovely and right outside our door. We watched surfers on the beach though the rough waters and rocky beach did not avail sun-soaking or swimming.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was a pleasure to be able to come and have a little fun well we wait to close on our house. The home was clean, and neat. Well stocked, and loved that it had a washer and dryer. Would stay again.

The host, Eric, had everything laid out super early on checking in information. The place was easy to find, safe entry way, elevator, and keyless entry. Very responsive does matter the hour of the day. A storm issues knocked out water messaged him it was resolved in minutes. Suggested restaurants nearby for the time of day. Shared information about the area. Parking is available it is gated and secured if car rental is your option. The location is 1 and half or less from SJO (Uber. $122 est) easy to come in but have tip leaving out cause they will decline trip if you don’t have at least $20 cash due to tolls cost and distance. Location was perfect away from strip of restaurants, casinos, local shops, and excursions. I would wait to book excursions off the Avenida Pastor Díaz save deposits for ATV rental or excursions vs Viator website. Food suggestions: Local Grill, Sunrise Brunch, El Manglar all amazing foods

i didn't get to meet jhonathon while i was there because he was out of the country. The people he hired were very friendly and helpfull. including Edar who is the gatekeeper and Luis who i think makes sure things get done. the landscaping is very well done and the pool is warmed by the sun to a very comfortable temp. i liked the pictures on the website but seeing it was better. Jaco is a tourist town but if you want to eat like the natives i recommend Garabito and Rustico.
