Vacation rentals with a kayak in Gulf of Nicoya

What a peaceful and relaxing few days away from the city. I had my mum and aunt visiting me in Costa Rica so we rented this beautiful house for 5 nights. It's always such a nice surprise to rent a home that is so well maintained and equipped. We had everything we needed to make meals, to lounge around the pool and to have restful nights sleep. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pool was amazing and the location can't be beat. The best part for me was that this beautiful home was pet-friendly. The neighbourhood was perfect and safe for walking my god boy Gordie. Another perk is that Gracia Mar Vista, an excellent restaurant with an amazing view, is just a short distance away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend Alejandro's place.

What a wonderful stay. Can't say enough about this beautiful house. Absolutely perfect for our family. The rooms were spacious and clean, the AC worked wonderfully, and the kitchen was full stocked. Definitely recommend utilizing their service to have the house provisioned before arriving. The daily housekeeping was amazing. We had rented a car, so we didn't need the golf cart option. To be honest, it might be too far a trek for the golf cart to the private club, but that's just nit picking as the weather was 90 degrees plus when we were there. The use of the private club was awesome, and we used it everyday. Right on the beach, great pool side service, and dinners tasted great. Honestly we have zero criticisms. If you are headed to the Tamarindo area, stay here and avoid an all inclusive hotel. You won't regret it.

Tavis place was amazing 😍 The house is so spacious, comfortable, secure and modern. Tavi clearly takes a lot of pride in keeping the place well maintained. The garden out front is absolutely beautiful and the view out to the lake is captivating. The location was ideal - only within 10 mins walk of the town and the lakefront. Tavi was super responsive and very helpful with lots of local recommendations. Could not fault the communication. Would not hesitate staying at Tavis place again.

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

Un hospedaje hermoso, fuimos recibidos por don Elkin con una refrescante limonada y la visita de una familia de monos a un lado del hospedaje. La casa es fresca, cuenta con buena ventilación, la cocina y comedor cerca de la piscina son geniales Las camas son como de hotel, nuestras noches fueron geniales. La zona es muy rural y hay restaurantes muy ricos, De Raíz y Atardecer Dorado son muy buenas recomendaciones La bicicletas fueron geniales para nuestra familia Melissa y su equipo son muy serviciales y atentos Esperamos volver

Mi familia y yo estuvimos durante una semana en esta propiedad, la casa es moderna, amplia y muy cómoda. Éramos 6 personas y el espacio fue perfecto. Hacíamos 15 min a playa Flamingo que es nuestra favorita. La piscina comunicaría muy linda y la piscina pequeña que está en la casa era ideal para refrescarse. Buen servicio de parte de don Santiago, el guarda y buena comunicación con Jennifer. Definitivamente volveremos!

Joseph’s property is a serene, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and just a five-minute walk to the ocean. The tranquil setting and nature’s beauty made it the perfect escape for New Year's Eve. One highlight was meeting Macho, the friendly “guardian” dog, who quickly became a cherished part of our stay. Joseph’s hospitality was exceptional—he was kind, responsive, and even made us delicious homemade pizza one evening. We had a small misunderstanding about bringing two dogs instead of one, but Joseph was incredibly understanding and welcomed both with open arms. The property itself was well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with inviting outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature. Our only minor issue was a missed cleaning service, but Joseph apologized and offered to reschedule, though it was too close to our departure to be worthwhile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to return!

Apartamento de un cuarto con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia cómodo, en el centro de Bagases, seguro, al frente vive una familia que fue muy amable.

Sin duda alguna 100 por ciento recomendado .El lugar es increíble,quieres relajarte, descansar , pasar en familia o con tus amigos es el lugar indicado para ello donde puedes ir a la granja que por cierto muy linda , o quieres disfrutar de un paseo en kayak lo puedes hacer ya que en la propiedad se puede a ser en una bella laguna que tienen, o bien si quieres estar en la piscina para refrescarte es Exelente. La verdad mi familia y yo la pasamos realmente increíble nos venimos enamorados de allá no queríamos regresarnos pero tuvimos que 🙂‍↕️ gracias por la bella estadía. (Hay muchas cosas por hacer en en San Carlos ❤️❤️❤️❤️)

Han’s place was fantastic! We really appreciated Cinthya’s help with the smooth check-in and the personal tour. The home had everything we needed and more; it truly felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay here. Helena was really helpful and helped us book the national park when we were struggling. Enjoyed lots of activities and beaches around the area and seeing the frogs each night. Would definitely recommend.

Margaret's place was above and beyond beautiful inside and out. It was so serene and peaceful. A bowl of fresh fruit welcomed us on our arrival and was a lovely touch. The view from the master bedroom was incredible! We spent our mornings on the porch drinking coffee and listening/watching the birds. Margaret was quick to respond to our questions. We took a hike down to Lake Cote which was just around the corner. The location is perfect only being 15 min from town but beautifully secluded. The grounds are so lush and beautiful. We will definitely return and would encourage anyone to stay at Margaret's place!

Tranquil, quiet stay. Very fairly priced. Israel was quick to respond to questions and very helpful.

I stayed for 11 nights on a work trip and had a great experience. Roberto and his parents were wonderful hosts and made me feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The back terrace is a really nice space for eating, working, and hanging out. I had full use of the laundry room and kitchen, and designated space in the fridge and cabinet. The farm is about 13 minutes north of Pital and about 30 minutes from the Boca Tapada area. There is a minisuper 400 m away for basic groceries, and Restaurante Tilapias Los Cachorros is a good option for lunch and dinner about 10 minutes away. Some highlights: -Getting to see the vanilla production on the farm. -The beautiful and fascinating "olla de mono" trees, which were visited almost daily by scarlet and great green macaws. -Relaxing in the hot tub, especially in breezy & rainy weather

Muy recomendada. La cabaña es igual a las fotos, ordenada, aseada, la ubicación es buena, céntrica en un pueblo. Cerca de varias playas.

Un lugar increíble y los anfitriones son excepcionales. Lo recomiendo 100%. La cabaña es hermosa, está muy bien equipada, tiene todas las comodidades necesarias y definitivamente el lago y los paisajes es de las cosas más asombrosas del lugar.

Der Aufenthalt im „House of Waves“ war eine Bereicherung für unsere Costa Rica Reise. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist einzigartig, man spürt und hört das Meer in allen Facetten. Zwar wohnt man in der Anlage mit anderen Parteien zusammen, aber es war stets ruhig und ein respektvoller Umgang. Man kann auch frei die Aussenflächen nutzen. Die Bambuskontruktion des Häuschens ist sehr beeindruckend, man hat alles was man braucht und es steckt sehr viel Liebe in allem. Seid euch einfach bewusst: Ihr lebt mit der Natur zusammen, das heisst mit Kakerlaken, Krabben und anderen Insekten. Im und ums Haus. Das ist Teil der Erfahrung 😊
