Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Gulf of Nicoya

Not only was Mariana a phenomenal host, her home and surrounding area was exceptionally beautiful with the most amazing views. It was peaceful and private. We would be lucky to have the chance to stay at Mariana’s and would choose it again and again! The pool was an absolute hit for the kids and adults! Mariana was attentive and went above and beyond! my husband and I loved our stay at Casa Gungun! Rodrigo was very good at communicating. We loved the peaceful area and the view was amazing! the road to the place is very rough and makes it a bit harder in and out for doing things but just know you don't get anywhere fast in costa rica. Ate the best pizza of our life at Kon tiki! Hot tub struggled to get hot with the power outages was the only slight bummer but we enjoyed it when it was hot outside instead!

Great place! Just like the photos. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The shower water was cold but I have gotten used to that in travelling that not every place has the warmest shower water but definitely not a big deal! Everything else worked great, love the private big gate to make the property feel tucked away and private. You can hear running water in the creek or river that's down below which is lovely to listen to. We didn't get a chance to walk down. I love C.R. and plan to be back and would 100% stay here again.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! Ps wait until you see his 2nd one they are building right now!! Thank you soo very much! We loved everyone moment at your home!

Wonderful week with my family of four! Loved Punta Islita—beautiful beach and resort- amenities available to us! So much wildlife around! We actually loved the separate master bedroom, worked perfectly for us. The pool was exquisite! Highly recommend!

Simplemente espectacular, el alojamiento mantiene un equilibrio entre lo rústico y lo moderno, su habitación y decoración impecables, el área es tranquila si lo que buscas es estar alejado del bullicio y se encuentra a pocos kms de excelententes restaurantes de la Fortuna, la piscina brinda un contraste para pasar de su frio hacia el agua caliente del jacuzzi, el único problema es cuando llega el momento de partir, ya que uno quisiera estar más tiempo en tan hermoso lugar. Superó mis expectativas.

Nature surrounding fun quirky comfort. Incredible experience! So well thought out and perfectly executed. As the adult I appreciated the design and ergonomics of the home and village plan. My kids just went just enjoying all! Creek, pool, hot tub, trails, FARM!! fresh egg gathering! cutest goats in Central America! All close enough yet far enough from town. Staff is amazing!

El lugar es precioso! Tiene unas vistas increíbles del volcán, además la villa parece nueva y muy moderna. Tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodo y más. El jacuzzi funcionó perfecto y es muy relajante. Gabriela además es una host muy comunicativa y nos dio muchas sugerencias de donde comer y qué hacer en la zona. Volvería sin dudarlo!

The property was unbelievable. The house, the pool, the views… wow! The kids literally lived in the pool. The area itself is off the beaten track in the best possible way—surrounded by lush, untouched rainforest with scarlet macaws flying overhead daily. You’re a short drive from the ocean and crocodile tours on the Tárcoles River, yet far removed from the crowds. It felt like we were seeing the real Costa Rica. There are some great, low-key food spots nearby, and the overall vibe was so much more authentic and grounded than the overly touristy feel we got in Monteverde. One of the highlights was the intimate dinner prepared by Cecelia—homemade, delicious, and shared like you were part of the family. This place and these hosts made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We’re already talking about coming back

Nice quiet location with plenty of space and amenities. We only had the chance to stay for one night unfortunately but would be happy to go back on another trip. Support is available locally in case of anything needed during the stay which we made use of. Close to La Fortuna which is just a short drive away.

We enjoy our stay. Russell was very friendly and helpful. The place was comfortable, clean and felt very safe. We were amazed with all the birds singing in the morning. It’s a bit difficult to find, especially at night when you’re not familiar with driving in Costa Rica but Russell provided very clear directions and is very responsive.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The customer service was exceptional—our host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the start. The private villa was stunning: spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It felt like our own peaceful oasis, with an incredible backyard area with a private pool and jacuzzi as well as a private area to park within it own sliding gate. The location was unbeatable—just minutes from downtown, with endless things to do nearby. We enjoyed exploring local restaurants, shops, and attractions, all within easy reach. Despite being so close to the action, the villa offered quiet, comfort, and privacy at the end of each day. It was the perfect balance of convenience and serenity. This stay exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, high-quality experience. Our stay was amazing, we would definitely book again! It was a long walk to town but transportation was there within a couple of minutes each time and only took about 4 minutes to get to downtown La Fortuna!

10/10 would definitely stay again. very beautiful and the hosts were friendly and helpful!

This was a once in a lifetime stay! I cannot stress how important it is that you stay here when you come through to Costa Rica. The sunset was a one in 1 billion experience. Jorge was so nice and I felt like I was part of his family.

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

David was amazing. And his space was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It really is a little oasis. The outside terrace was maybe my favorite part. And the garden/small trail is beautiful. It's literally a 3 minute walk from El Salto, which is a blast. And it's a quick 15 minute walk to the center of La Fortuna, making shopping and eating out really convenient without having to worry about transportation. David also helped us setup our transportation from the airport and to our 2nd Air BnB. Next time I'm in Fortuna, I already know where I'm staying. Thanks again for having us. Pura Vida.

I loved all the amenities, my girlfriend loved spotting local birds. The place was beatiful and peaceful.

This place is a paradise! It was the perfect home base to explore the La Fortuna area. The beautiful gardens are full of wildlife to enjoy, and the hot tub was a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Jonathan was quick to respond and the place was spotless when we arrived. We can't wait to return!

We had an incredibly comfortable and memorable stay. The cabin itself is well-equipped with all the modern amenities. The air conditioning worked great, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Beautifully landscaped, very secure, and gated, which gave us extra peace of mind. Our kids had a blast, and we all woke up each morning to breathtaking views and the sounds of nature: toucans calling, howler monkeys in the distance, and sunrises that made each day feel magical. This place isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a total immersion in nature, with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.
