Monthly Rentals in Guestling Thorn

A perfectly relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Blackthorn was just what my wife and I needed! Quiet, comfy and spotlessly clean we enjoyed the lovely vista from the veranda, our swims in the pool and soaks in the hot tub. Peter and Karen made us feel so welcome and gave us the benefit of their extensive local knowledge with recommendations for eating out and places to visit. An absolutely ideal retreat for seeing the many local attractions or to maybe stay on site to make the most of the lovely relaxing setting. We look forward to visiting again.

We had such a brilliant stay. Chris and Erick are lovely hosts and are there to help but leave you to very much enjoy your stay. The flat was gorgeous and really had everything we needed, it was spotless and very warm and cosy, the view is amazing too. The leisure facilities were incredible, hands down the best we’ve ever had in the UK (and we’ve stayed in lots or air bnbs). The pool is just perfect and gym, hot tub and steam room were wonderful too. The local area is great, loads to do, plus you’re in a country park so you can literally go on gorgeous walks right out of the front door.

The Dairy is an absolute gem in an unexpectedly beautiful & historic piece of England… visiting in the Spring was idyllic as the countryside was at its best. The accommodation is more than you could ask for (very spacious)… Peter & Marilyn have thought of everything and have great taste, so it really does feel like a home from home… I’m already dreaming about our next visit!

Had a wonderful week at the Pump House Annex. Tina & Simon were excellent hosts and really had thought of everything and more to make a stay here easy, comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.
