Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Guemes Island

Great space! My family and I were in town for our brother's birthday and we were able to gather there with plenty of space. Good spot if you have a larger crew of folks you're traveling with.

We had a lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the great selection of board games, which made for some really fun family evenings. The private beach access was a huge bonus—peaceful, beautiful, and never crowded. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The furniture and bed were comfortable (we used the upstairs bedroom). The shower was roomy, and we really appreciated the slip-free mat on the shower floor (no grab bars there, which would have also been appreciated). This is the most well-stocked rental ever--anything we needed was there and more! Best of all was the beautiful setting. We spent lots of time relaxing on the deck enjoying the views, which included deer and eagles. We will certainly return!

Jessey’s place was a great fit for our family and what we needed. We were a larger group in town visiting family and we did not all fit at the families house. So having her extra space was a great accommodation. It is warm, inviting and close to everything! We walked downtown, easily drove to our family, beach trips were easy and close by and Port Townsend was a short distance. Her house was very comfortable and accommodating and easy to find. I would image we will be staying there again and would recommend to anyone. The price was just right! Only negative point I will make is that there really is no outdoor space…but…you are within walking distance to everything and close by to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Laurie's beautiful home! the house was gorgeous and exactly as pictured. I especially loved all the kids items available such as a crib, high chair, plates and utensils, toys, white noise machines that made our stay extra comfortable and easier to pack for.

This abode is amazing, it was super comfortable, had all amenities needed, and was a wonderful experience! I actually chose this vacation to propose to my boyfriend, thank you Donna for providing a place for my now fiancé and I :)

Nicole’s place was very lovely. It’s modern and beautiful, and has a huge grassy yard which our pup loved for playing frisbee. We found everything we needed and felt right at home. Check-in was super easy, and everything was nice and clean when we got there. The double headed master shower is a nice treat too. Check-out was straight forward and simple. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would gladly book again.

We really felt at home for our visit. Highly recommend and will be visiting again and checking availability.

Teri’s condo is fabulous! Sparkling clean; beautifully appointed. She had incredibly helpful, friendly texts and emails. The condo unit was on the end; was nice and quiet, with a pretty view of lawn and garden. The pool and Hotub were great! We would happily stay again!! Thank you Teri!

Emma's place was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us - including our 2 big dogs! The decor is lovely, just like the pictures, but free from clutter, which I appreciated. The kitchen had every item we needed to make our meals. The sauna and cold soak tub were a very appreciated bonus! The neighborhood is very peaceful, and felt safe for walking our dogs. Most importantly was how kind, gracious, and communicative Emma was. She allowed us to check in early, which helped us immensely, and answered any questions we had quickly. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Perfect little condo for our weekend getaway as a family of four plus our pup. Our kids (4 and 6) loved the bunk bed and access to the pool. The other room is a loft room so it’s a bit bright in the morning. The condo had great decor, and all the necessary items. It was a great home base for a couple nights!

Retreat 19 is a lovely home away from home! The inside of the home is decorated beautifully, while not being cluttered. It felt like a dream to find such a nice looking and well-appointed home that also allows dogs! The kitchen has top of the line appliances, along with everything you need to make meals, and is very spacious. Our family was very comfortable during our stay. And Jennifer was incredibly kind and flexible to allow us latitude in our check in and check out time - which was so helpful! The only downside - and it was a minor one - was that the fenced in yard doesn't have grass - it is just dirt. That didn't matter to our dogs - they had a great time running around in it - but it meant that their feet were constantly muddy, which made us worry about making sure they weren't tracking it inside. Considering the lovely home and their willingness to accept pets, the extra effort to keep the dogs clean was worth it to us to have the benefit of the fenced yard.

My family loved this place! Very clean, left us snacks, rackets for the indoor court, access to the pool, and even towels and blankets for our dog. Our host was very responsive to my messages, and we were able to check in 3 hours earlier. It was quiet, easy access to the beach, and most of all, my kids loved it as well, and they’re tough critics. I highly recommend staying there.

Our recent stay at this amazing house, hosted by the absolutely wonderful Gramma Rikki, was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The location was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed breathtaking views and easy access to all the island's treasures. Whether we wanted to explore the vibrant town, hike scenic trails, or simply relax and soak in the tranquility, everything was conveniently within reach. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Gramma Rikki. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made us feel like valued guests, and we truly appreciated their warm and welcoming spirit. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. Great place to stay in Birch Bay! Dan and Sherri were great hosts, the condo was very comfortable and had a nice view of the bay. Very responsive and answered all our questions promptly and clearly. Would stay here again!

Was the perfect getaway for my wife and kids! Pool was amazing and great fun for our kids. Place was clean, quiet and it was the perfect peaceful location for a relaxing weekend! Can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed staying in this peaceful retreat located in the forest. I appreciated the location as it was easy to get to Freeland and central to the rest of the island for the activities I had planned for the weekend. Lana's place was a great stay for a quick trip to Port Townsend. Hot water is sparce, so if more than one person is showering they need to wait about 15 minutes between showers. The property is shared with other airbnb patrons but we hardly saw them. It's a bit of a drive from downtown port townsend but it offers great privacy. After a day full of hiking it was a great place to rest our head.

Loved our peaceful and relaxing stay! Will be coming back in the future. Very clean and even cuter in person. Really appreciate a fragrance free environment, hard to find. The garden was so beautiful. Felt right at home and Vicki was a delight!

We loved staying here for the weekend. The fenced backyard was bigger than we thought for our dog. Would stay here again.

Loni and Alana have a great little refuge for anyone visiting Bellingham. The property is beautiful, the home is clean and private, and they were incredibly gracious hosts. Will definitely be staying there again!

Matt’s home was heaven on earth. From the moment we walked in, we felt so cozy and at peace. The water views are breathtaking and the home itself is very charming. We will be staying again on our next Lopez Island trip.

Dog friendly is an understatement. You can tell Rene is a fan of dogs. She had many amenities for the pooches, from towels, wipes, dog treats galore, down to having water and food bowls too. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood where we were able to let the dogs out to play and go potty without any concerns. This is a peaceful home away from home. We spent lots of time relaxing and resting -- this place was exactly what we needed. We like to utilize the kitchen and cook while we are on getaways. Most kitchens have the bare bone minimal kitchen utensils and cookware. We had everything we needed, to include an abundance of different spices. And for those who are Pampered Chef lovers, she even has a few PC items. The bathrooms/bedrooms have plenty of supplies to include full-size shower needs. Tons of bedding and linens too. I love that, as lots of places give you only a couple of towels and such for your stay. It was nice not to rashon the linens. 2 thumbs up!

Tami’s place was great. This was our second time in Birchy Bay, and we decided we wanted to stay in a house this time instead of a condo. This place is exactly as advertised. Enjoyed a beautiful waterfront run and easy walks to restaurants!
