This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in a private, super quiet setting, surrounded by nature.

It is an amazing and very well cared for property, with wonderful hosts who helped us do the laundry, offered us delicious food and supported us in everything. We totally recommend visiting it!

The place is beautiful, private and relaxing. The ease of bringing your pets is a plus. The host is very attentive and kind. The pool is very enjoyable because of the hot weather. Any car can enter, but most of the street is unpaved and you have to go slowly, so take that into account. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place! Highly recommended!

We LOVED staying there. It had awesome views, Fabiola was very responsive, the fireplace was a highlight and the kitchen was well equiped. We explored during the day then came home to a fire, cooked dinner and played games in front of the fire. Will definitely go back!!!

We were absolutely treated like royalty while at Cesar’s property. He has a completely bilingual team that acts as your personal concierge and travel consultants while you’re there. We were set up with our own personal taxi service and we even had available to us meal preparation and a chef.

The place is dreamy, full of nature and peace. The house has all the amenities you need, extremely clean and tidy. The gentleman who looks after the property is very friendly and pleasant too.

If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.

Naturally speaking, you can't ask for more... The famous Pozo Azul River is just a few steps away from the property, a small stream of crystal clear waters within a magnificent completely private secondary forest that can be explored by its trails both day and night. Large property, with nice gardens and a rustic cabin that offers everything you need to rest.

The photographs in the application do not do justice to the beauty of the cabin, I went with my husband and my two dogs and we had a wonderful time, it feels a lot of peace.. My vehicle is a car and with care I was able to access the place without problem, only the last kilometer there was a bit of mud. I would definitely go again. ✨️🙌🏻❤️ The cabin is clean and safe.

Great welcome by the dad and Erica had left us a big pineapple, a big melon and super nice bananas. A nice walk to take in the fenced property without risk of getting lost. Very nice comfortable cabin arranged with great taste and very peaceful Spending two days there was a pleasure with the very considerate and responsive dad! A nice walk to take to the Brava volcano. Amazing overnight stay at Kevin David and Muriela's . We arrived at 3pm and they took the time to show us around their property. We had booked dinner and breakfast and these moments of sharing will remain engraved in our memory. They were welcoming, and did everything to make us feel at home. Seeing the sloths getting up was a magical moment. As for the accommodation, the cabin is well-equipped, we slept like babies. What a nice surprise on our route , Max 35 minutes from the shuttle to Tortuguero. Kevin David and muriela if you come to our place, we would love to host you. Pura vida ❤️

The house is located in a very quiet and safe place, where many wild birds can be observed. We were greeted with the well-equipped house, everything you need for cooking, even enough firewood to use the grill as well as to make a fire pit. The bedroom is cozy and we have enough blankets available. The balcony is spacious and makes you want to stay there for hours to rest. The property has an extensive green area which gives you privacy. It is a great place to enjoy a very quiet and safe place.

I had the opportunity to stay at Café Burío with my family, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and with a cool climate typical of the upper area of Heredia. The cabin where we stayed was impeccable: clean, well-equipped and with a rustic but cozy decor.

A beautiful property in a high location overlooking the volcano. It is definitely more for adventurers, the access is very steep and at least we had no cell phone network and no LTE for the 10 km around the house. However, Wi-Fi was satisfactorily fast. We would come back 😊

The cabin is in an incredible place, surrounded by nature and with a lot of privacy. Ideal for a getaway from the city without having to drive long distances. Approximately 10-15 minutes from downtown Barva.
