Vacation rentals with breakfast in Guapiles

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

Pictures do not do justice to this place. Great part of town. Even allowed us to park inside secured gate for our rental car. Andres was awesome. Highly recommend!!

I had such a wonderful few weeks at Bogana Haus! It’s the first time I’ve shared an Airbnb yet it’s the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The home is absolutely beautiful and truly feels like an oasis in the city. So much thought and detail clearly went into creating the space. The neighborhood is fairly quiet (although I would recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper) and I enjoyed going for morning walks. It’s also a pretty easy walk to the city center. I can’t leave a review with mentioning the amazing Paula. Not only does she keep the house immaculate, but she’s also so friendly, funny, and helpful. I was sick for a couple of days and she made me fresh lemon and ginger tea twice a day! I think my one regret is not taking advantage of her breakfasts more regularly during my stay. I highly recommend Bogana and look forward to staying again:)

This was a great place to stay, we would definitely do it again! The communication process before arrival was good. The caretakers were very friendly and very helpful. The house was huge, luxurious, and had amazing views. All and all our family had a great couple of days at the house. Having said all of that, there were a few cons: -The road to get to the place was horrible, it was muddy with a lot of potholes. -There are chickens in the back yard. Some people might like that, but the rooster would crow in the middle of the night and wake us up. -The house was "surface" cleaned, but it could definitely use a deep clean. The fridge was dirty, there was a lot of dust and dirt under furniture, etc.

Victoria is a wonderful host. We were visiting Costa Rica for dental services. This is the 2nd time we have stayed with this host, she provides a perfect Tico breakfast of fresh fruit and eggs for the first couple of days. Rooms are quiet and clean located in Escazu which is an upscale safe neighborhood. We could walk to the grocery stores and the dental office. You can use the kitchen if you wish or walk to one of the many local restaurants in the area. Bus or uber are both convenient transportation methods and easy to use. Great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

The host was great, very nice and flexible, The place is very cute, big, and in a really nice area where so many bars and restaurants and the city center are all walkable!

great location close to downtown rooms were great, nice breakfast every morning. Make sure you have a plan if you get to San Jose early most likely you won't be able to check in until 3. My room wasn't ready until 3:30 pm but they will hold your bags and you can explore the city, lounge by the pool or have something to eat or have a drink at their restaurant. And check out isn't until 1pm so that was great can't wait to come back. thanks sergio

Federico was so helpful while arriving to San Jose. He made the check-in process effortless, guided me around the building and showed all of the nice amenities. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re using the coworking spacing Gracias. It’s very convenient and an excellent location. Beautiful coffee shops and great restaurants within walking distance. I’ll be staying here again in the near future for sure! Thanks Federico!

Stayed here for one night, since we had an early morning flight the next day. Katia was able to provide cheap transportation to the airport which was perfect.

I really liked the place, the people who take care of you are very friendly and warm welcome. The restaurant is delicious, everything they prepare is seen to do with love and the food is very traditional. The room is nice, it has enough blankets and has a super cute balcony that overlooks a garden.

Such a nice stay in a relaxing environment. Best view into the green mountains, we saw so many birds. Ruth & Andreas were lovely hosts. We can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Nano's! He welcomed us warmly and the room is very nice with its own balcony & bathroom upstairs. We were able to use the kitchen and living room. The view of the mountains and the valley is a highlight, it is also very quiet and we were able to switch off and relax well. In the evening, Nano prepared a delicious dinner with vegetables and herbs from his garden with a lot of love, also vegetarian on request:) We had great conversations and he gave us many tips for activities in the area. We keep Nano as a good friend and our stay at Casa Paz as a very special memory of our trip through Costa Rica!

Great place to stay, close to airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very friendly host, Edwin even offered to drive me to the airport at 4 am! I was there only for one night. The room is spacious with a large and very comfortable bed / mattress. Big bathroom with everything you need. All was meticulously clean, and welcoming. I used the jacuzzi to relax. I would stay here again!

The place is in a quiet area, you can feel safe and only 10 minutes to the larger shopping center. Continental breakfasts delicious, friendly, smiling, and supportive guests. Rooms are clean, well-maintained. If we go back to San Jose, it's also to Casa Lima. :)

Diego was a great host! He made us feel right at home and showed a great deal of care and concern to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and each came with a bathroom. We absolutely enjoyed Diego’s backyard and swimming pool. His wife, Monica, also served us a very nice breakfast in the morning. We were a big party, so it was also very convenient and easy to arrange & book our pick-up from the airport with Diego. We even booked our transportation to an out of town excursion, with Diego’s company. Would definitely stay at Diego’s place again when visiting San Jose!
