What a wonderful way to visit San Miguel de Allende! We felt completely welcome and comfortable in this restored casa with an open air courtyard, beautiful flowers and a stunning terrace view. The housekeeper, Patty, was very nice and made wonderful classic Mexican food for us. The location was perfect for walking to the square, overlooks, the park and everywhere in between. Many great experiences were had and this was the perfect home base. Do not hesitate to stay here - you will not regret it! A note to future renters, if your flight arrives late you will need to arrange how to get in ahead of time with the rental company. If your flight arrives later than 9 pm it would be good to stay near the airport and travel to SMA the next day and begin your stay at Casa Lacardo then. Another tip: SMA is a mostly a cash economy unless you are eating/ shopping at a more established restaurant.

Let me start by saying this is a great property everything is within walking distance and there was more than enough restaurants available nearby. Fernando was a great host, the night porter from the place we stayed at. He was very attentive and gave great recommendations. If you are a light sleeper this place may not be for you you have the noise from the cars passing by in the morning also there is a working restaurant on the premises and they start a little early and you will definitely hear them in the morning. Having said that the place is quite charming and is well maintained I would definitely stay here again for f the opportunity arose.

Espacio más amplio de lo que se aprecia en las fotos, era un antiguo rancho con muchos espacios para explorar. La casa es muy amplia y cuanta con diversos espacios para cada actividad. Realmente es sencillo de llegar, pero las app lo complican un poco y el camino, aunque un poco descuidado (que no es culpa del anfitrión) es de facil acceso en auto. Todo funcional, la casa es muy térmica. Quiza un par de abanicos y más sillas para aprovechar todos los espacios (dentro y fuera) mejorarian la experiencia, pero en general muy bien, fuimos un grupo de 7 personas y mascotas y disfrutamos mucho la tranquilidad del lugar

Rustic apartment close to the downtown area of San Miguel de Allende. Suitable for a short or longer stay. Walkable neighborhood. Beautiful, very well maintained garden in a secluded, quiet setting with high level of privacy. Facilities and amenities in fair state. Much enjoyed my one week stay!

Súper casa bien localizada, encuentras todo alrededor, encuentras todo dentro de la casa. Excelente para momentos familiares, jardín delicioso ora disfrutar leyendo tomando café encuentras la mañana. Felicidades!

Host was very responsive & allowed us to leave our luggage before check in. The bed was very comfortable & there was ample filtered water. Great location- very walkable & nice decor. Host was very helpful with local tips!

La ubicación brinda seguridad y privacidad. A mi familia y amigos nos gustó mucho, por lo que estaremos buscando regresar pronto. Marta, nuestra anfitriona estuvo muy atenta a nuestra llegada, nos explicó detalladamente todo y nos brindo mucha información. Resolvió todas nuestras dudas e hizo todo lo posible porque nuestra estancia fuera placentera.

We had a wonderful stay! Do not hesitate, this place is fantastic. The location is a bit out of town, we loved the walk down but did take taxis home (very inexpensive and easy to find). We loved the pool and the tranquility but mostly we loved Theresa...she truly makes you feel at home and takes wonderful care of you. Her meals are delicious and she is a kind and sweet person with a great sense of humor. We have stayed in SMA many times and this place was a favorite, we hope to return. Paula took the time to help me plan our visit via phone before our arrival which was very helpful and kind. Thank you Paula and Theresa!!

An amazing place to visit and enjoy with family or friends! Beautiful, clean, cozy, and peaceful. The thermal pools are absolutely wonderful. Juan Carlos and his team are outstanding hosts who make us feel right at home. I highly recommend it 100%! I can’t wait for the day we get to experience this again.

Magnificent hidden gem! This property is better than the photos, and allows you to live in a Spanish Colonial townhome/mansion. Truly a gorgeous oasis, and also an art collector's home, filled with beautiful things, and fully stocked for your comfort. The pool and courtyard fountain make you feel like you are in a private resort. The 4th floor roof top covered living/dining/bar/fireplace is perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail or glass of wine with a stunning nighttime view of two church steeples. The property is so lush with potted plants and flowers that a gardener tends to it. I can't say enough good things about this property and excellent location. The best part is Rosalinda the cook, and Leticia the chambermaid. They are the sweetest and kindest souls; true caregivers. You can pick out recipes from the binders/cookbooks in the kitchen, give them money for groceries and they will cook 2 meals a day for you. We felt like royalty! Jod's dining recommendations were 5-Star!

Excelente seguimiento y empatía de Ale en todo el proceso de la reserva y durante nuestra estancia, el lugar es extraordinario sin duda buscáremos regresar lo único que podría mejorar es la opción para mejorar la temperatura de la alberca ya que a pesar que nos tocaron días despejados los niños no pudieron hacer uso de la alberca por la baja temperatura del agua.

Wonderful host, very communicative and quick responding, made the arrival at the private security gate quick and easy. Beautiful home, great outdoor living space on the bottom and third floors, within a very well kept, peaceful community, outside the bustle. Enjoyed it, thank you.

El lugar es muy bueno para grupos de 10-15 personas. Tiene buenas amenidades y es amplio.

excelente lugar tal como las fotos, la atención de Gustavo super bien, muy tranquilo el lugar, lugares cerca para realizar alguna compra, todo muy bien, las instalaciones, limpieza etc. quizá solo buscar la manera que el agua esté más templada para poder ocupar en todo el día o cualquier época del año. pero lo recomiendo ampliamente

Our family had a great time at Jorge’s place! Juan and his wife Rita were welcoming and always responsive to our questions. The house is beautiful and the location is great! Private and close to the center of town. The yard is beautiful and peaceful.

Nuestra visita fue muy agradable!!!! Pasamos año nuevo como lo queríamos, hicimos uso de la cocina y todo súper bien! Habitaciones limpias y Octavio nos hizo recomendaciones que nos sirvió bastante!
