Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guadalupe River

It is the 2nd time we have stayed here, this time with some friends and their dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and took advantage of all the amenities, backyard games, and the hot tub. Small issue with the coffee maker the first morning but it was handled quickly. Loved the airbnb being dog friendly and not too far from main street.

My husband and I visited Fredericksburg for the 1st time to celebrate our 2nd anniversary, & the new year. From the moment we arrived - we were impressed! We are BIG on details, & they far exceeded our expectations. The theater room was so cozy & cute. The entire home was so clean. They had comfy blankets since it was cold. The sofa and loveseat in the living room were the most comfortable. They gave clear instructions on everything. It was incredibly private & peaceful. They had a nice collection of DVD’s & games. They even left us New Year headbands & the MOST delicious cookies! Everything from start to finish was perfect! The 1st night we arrived, we noticed the outdoor string lights weren’t working. We reached out to the hosts…& they were so quick to respond, & incredibly kind! The gentleman they sent over helped…& even gave recommendations to us, since it was our 1st time visiting! The only upsetting part? The fact that we had to leave! Such a perfect spot! Thank you guys again!♥️

We had a great stay at Isaac’s place. We were only in town for one night, but he had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable and the space was very roomy.

George was extremely responsive and helpful. The house was perfect for our group meeting up to come to a wedding. it's a great space for hanging out!

We had a wonderful time at Ramsay’s Cottage! The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and short walk to the private park. The house was comfy and had everything we needed. It really felt like the hosts thought of everything - we had everything we could have needed. The cookies from Charles were icing on the cake to a perfect weekend! We would love to stay here again.

The stay was amazing! We spotted deer every morning we were there. The host was very accommodating and communicated quickly throughout our stay. Thank you for an amazing trip.

It was me and my partners first time in Fredericksburg and we absolutely loved it! This place is perfect for a weekend getaway. It’s in close proximity to great eats, shops, and various good times! Probably the best little vacation I’ve ever had.

Beautiful surroundings and secluded within a real nice neighborhood. Easy to get anywhere. A little cool for us to use the pool but the hot tub filled the void. We loved the place.

Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

Great house and place to base ourselves to explore Austin. Stayed with our young boys who loved the basketball hoop out the back and yard at front to play. Katy & Rick very friendly and helpful.

This was a great place and location! Also, they communicated very well. Very easy check in and out. Definitely will look to stay here next time we are in Austin!

Jennifer was a great host in responsiveness and being attentive. The place was just what our family needed and the back yard is a huge plus for pets! Highly recommend if your staying in San Antonio.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and the ease of access to the river made for the perfect weekend. No worrying about parking, renting tubes, getting picked up by a van- just walk in and walk out back to the house. It is a beautiful little gem.

What an amazing place! The studio was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. The yard outside the studio was a beautiful spot for outdoor dining on the giant picnic table. We enjoyed swinging in the hammock and sitting by the fire ring in the evening. We loved walking around the ranch and looking at all the flowers, the scenery, the horses (especially the new foal), etc. The hike around the mountain/hill was just strenuous enough with lots of beautiful views (be sure to bring water)! Finally, their spot on the river was perfect. At this time of year many spots have run dry or stagnant, however, at Montesino there was still enough water in the swimming hole to have a good soak. It’s warm (as all Tx rivers are at this time of year), and there’s moss covering the rocks (again, as every river in Tx has right now) but the water is moving so it’s not stagnant and it’s still cool enough before 3 pm to be refreshing! It was a lovely time!

My family and I had a great time at Dana’s place. The cabin was so homey. It’s in a beautiful area with lots of nearby attractions. She even made us some cookies for our arrival. We would definitely stay again if the chance arose!

Beautiful comfortable home, felt like I was at home, centrally located. Love the area close to downtown and the backyard is awesome space to relax. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay .

This is the absolute best sanctuary/vacation home to stay in. The best scenery, close to wildlife (had a deer let me pet it), the coolest little family vibe, and just all around amazing. I will choose this place every single time I come and visit Dripping Springs.

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

WOW! This Hacienda style dwelling was exactly what we wanted to stay at in San Antonio.Absolutely gave you the flavor we needed to make our visit authentic feeling.Having a great Mexican restaurant( El Chaparral )a mile away was a bit of magic also. Pool is large & rooms were cozy.Details were obvious everywhere.Thank You so much for the memories.

It’s far and very private! We loved the drive to the home , Dee was very helpful and accommodating . We enjoyed our stay a lot, the pool and patio was everyone’s favorite.

This is the perfect location for BMT graduation. We were mins from the graduation which was great! Very clean, excellent communication, plenty of activities in the house and around the house. So if you wanted to relax you could because there was plenty to do for all guests. The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and the air conditioning was on point especially as we head into summer. Just 20 mins from the airport. Perfect. Would highly recommend.
