Our house is located between Haren (Gn) and Glimmen on a quiet road. From the house, you can walk and cycle in all directions: Stromdal Drentse Aa, Appelbergen, the Onlanden, Haren, the Noordlaarder bos, the Paterswoldse and Zuidlaarder lake and of course the city of Groningen. Our spacious backyard overlooks a meadow, there are regular roe deer to be seen, as well as squirrels and even a fox. PLEASE NOTE: When booking, please indicate in the Airbnb app whether breakfast (€15.00pp) is desired.

Although we live behind the airport, we do not have any noise nuisance. Biking, hiking, running, sailing on the Paterswoldsemeer, Hoornse Plas. Eelde/Paterswolde is a village with several cores. Sights, Museum De Buitenplaats, Lemferdinge Estate, Friescheveen.

We had a lovely weekend at Annie and Jaring's place. They are very nice and service-oriented. Nice cottage and super garden to relax from our walks and excursions. Had a very tasty and extensive breakfast. Recommended and well worth it!

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

Good smooth communication and a warm welcome, tour and explanation. Clean neat bedroom, spacious ( shared) bathroom. A kitchenette with kettle and coffee machine. Small living room with audio equipment and TV, bookcase. Terrace with seating. Lots of tips about the area. Assen is 6 minutes away by car. As far as we are concerned: recommended.

We stayed in the oldest room and were thrilled! So much effort and love has been put into this house. Amazing! Wonderful location right on the dike, alpacas, horses, cats and cats on the farm. A real dream for people who like to be in the countryside. The family is super friendly, speaks good German and is very accommodating. The breakfast was always sufficient and very tasty. We will be happy to come back!

Eliane and Niels are really nice persons and they know a lot about hospitality. The cabins aren't big but well equipped with many little things, dat maybe you'll need on a trip. And the hidden welcome chocolate was the cherry on top!

the place is a bit outside the city. i liked the cosy way, the living/kitchen area is furnished. the entire areal has a very positive vibe (animals running around, very green). the hut was simple but had everything I needed. mine had its own little porch, which would be perfect for another visit in summer. The location is next to a club but with earplugs, I didn't mind. overall, I liked my stay.

An overnight stay at Joppe is quite an experience! I have traveled quite a bit during my life, but I have not often encountered such a friendly and jovial host as Joppe. The farmhouse is very characteristic. There is a story in every room. There is a beautiful garden with all kinds of seats. Lovely place! The food that Joppe can also provide is also sublime.
