You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Breakfast and/or eveningmeals are an extra option, but cost are not included. Groningen is a 15km bikeride. At 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

Great sunset, best sleep of hidden space (Jeeva)

The Jeeva is a 8m2 German army unit, used for military training and named after the first guest: Eva (journalist and Russia correspondent, hence the name), converted into a double chalet. Despite its spartan image, it is one of the most comfortable accommodations at De Helleborus. It has a double bed, a small table and a bench for both. Jeeva is decorated with old Dutch designs. A nice detail is the handmade table with mosaic of old crockery.

Childfriendly. first breakfast is ready upon arrival. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Our studio is located on the edge of the "de Meeuwen" district, within walking distance of the city center of Groningen. Our tastefully decorated studio with private bathroom and kitchen is ideal for both business and cultural trips. A wonderfully quiet place from which you can seek out the hustle and bustle of the city center. Breakfast for the first morning is included, and parking in the driveway is free.
