This was the perfect location for my needs. The accommodation is clean, warm, cosy and situated in beautiful countryside yet close enough to all major routes. Catherine was a fantastic host with clear, friendly and timely communications with no request or suggestion left unanswered. I only wish I could have stayed longer,

This is my second stay at Gail's place. I need a slightly long term place till I sorted out my plans and I didn't have to think twice before booking Gail's place. As usual she was nice to accommodate my check in time, the place was nice & clean. It is quite close to the city mall and train station. Gail & her family are helpful and non intrusive. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Best value for money as well esp. for longer stay.

I think this may be my favorite airbnb in 30+ locations. Good access to Basingstoke w/ high speed trains to London. Lovely walks right from home. Peaceful & quiet, beautiful surroundings. Squeaky clean & good quality amenities; comfy big bed with great soft pillows. Interesting reading material & local information. Needed a car to get groceries etc over some narrow roads. Very good pub/restaurant a short drive or 30 min walk away (busy!). Just a truly lovely place to relax, even nicer than in photos. Lovely private garden with patio seating. Gareth & Chloe were great communicators & helped graciously with an extra request. We'd love to return for an even longer stay! We were truly sad to leave.

An absolutely fantastic stay. Lucy is a brilliant host and could not have done more for me. She provided everything I could ever need and more. The kitchen is small but fully equipped including an induction hob for cooking meals. If in doubt, you will never fail to find an amazing pub in this area. Lots of good suggestions from Lucy. Bathroom always had hot running water and both kitchen and bathroom look brand new. The bedroom/living area is perfect for one or two people and was always warm and has such beautiful character, as does the whole property and village. I have stayed with Lucy for nearly 3 weeks whilst I am in the area for work and have rebooked for several months to stay again. This will be my first choice stay whenever I’m in the area.
