What a great little gem in a beautiful setting. The space is perfect for two and the accommodations are comfortable. Great for getting a little work done and then enjoying the view and the lake. Lake living is the best. Very relaxing. Mike and Vanessa were lovely and the process was easy. Highly recommended.

The place was just as described! Beds were comfortable and place was very clean. Linton Realty was very responsive and helpful (esp when we locked ourselves out!) The condo was in a nice quiet area with lots to do. Highly recommend!!!!

The time we spent at Heron's Roots was wonderful. Waking up in the morning overlooking the lake filled us with such peace. It's a place with beautiful vegetation and filled with many little birds that captivated us with their singing. San and her husband are wonderful people and very attentive, making our stay very pleasant and making us feel at home. Upon arriving in our hometown of Orlando, we were already missing the place and the peace it offered us. Thank you, San & Karl, for sharing such a beautiful place. Our daughter attends Clemson University and we decided to go to Clemson for Thanksgiving instead of her coming home to New York. We had an amazing time during our stay. We felt right at home. Tonia was very tentative to our needs. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. She suggested many places to visit during our stay. It was very peaceful and the place was immaculate with stunnung views. We will definitely stay here again when we are back to visit.

We had a great weekend staying at Jeff's house. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of supplies on hand. The pond has frogs, geese, and plenty of fish. We love the afternoon sounds of the bullfrogs. A very peaceful place to be. We will definitely return in the near future!

Perfect escape for three generations! Reviews are very accurate! We have been using Airbnb almost exclusively over a dozen years, this experience was at the top of our list! Granddaughter (age 6) caught one fish after another. A great memory for her! Air conditioning was so comfortable for an older home. Generous space to spread out in huge rooms!

We had a wonderful stay at Kelly's place! The home was easy to find, exactly as described, and ready to host us for a nice and relaxing fathers day weekend. We appreciated all of the little touches throughout the home that made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The home is spacious and the small decorating touches throughout made it feel like loved and inviting space. There were snacks on site to welcome us on our arrival, plenty of towels and toiletries available, the beds were OH SO COMFORTABLE, and we were grateful to say we didn't see not one bear during our stay. The instruction/welcome manual left by Kelly was super detailed - leaving not one question unanswered - and she was kind enough to check in with us to make sure we arrived and were settled in. We had a fun time with the kids playing in the river across the street, sitting on lovely screened in porch, and playing the various games available throughout the house. Thank you so very much!

We loved your guesthouse. It was very welcoming, clean, comfortable, and you have covered all needs. The bed is very comfortable. I appreciated not having to log into my accounts to watch TV. You are not far from restaurants and grocery stores, but it is a windy drive so be sure you know what you’re going to get before you go! Then enjoy the peace and quiet.

Karen was a great host! She was really polite and helpful. The house had everything we needed. Just the perfect one for our stay. Swimming in the pond was my most favorite activity. Would surely come back for it.

Little gem. Only weakness was the TV is a bit older and the internet bandwidth isn’t consistent. Cell service is weak up there too, so be aware of that. But if you want to truly unplug and enjoy nature, especially during the warmer months, this place is a treat. The owners have put a lot of intentionality into the place and accommodating the stay of their guests. Overall, wonderful.

Vickie’s place was the perfect location for a relaxing getaway!Looking out on the beautiful lake each day was a real treat! We enjoy watching bald eagles soaring, deer swimming across the lake and tons of other wildlife. We used the kayaks as well as our own inflatable SUPs a few times. Such a peaceful and beautiful location! So glad we took the short drive to the downtown area! Has to be one of the prettiest downtowns I’ve seen! Super clean and modern furniture and appliances with all the kitchen equipment you need. Vickie was a wonderful host! Very helpful, accommodating and super friendly! We can’t wait to come back!

We booked literally last minute as our previously booked AirBnB turned out to be a problem. The previous booking had just cancelled and we were lucky enough to find it at the right time. The host said they didn’t have time to clean prior to our booking but they came right over and cleaned as we arrived. So it all worked out and we definitely should have booked here first. The house is right on the lake with its own dock for lake access. Kayaks are provided as well. The house is perfect for a family or a couple looking to getaway. Large beds and bedrooms. The kitchen is stocked fairly well with pots, pans, utensils and the grill on the deck worked well. Would definitely book again if we are in the area visiting family in South Carolina.
