Warksburn Old Church: Style & Sustainability

BethanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This place is absolutely amazing! We came here as a surprise weekend for my mum’s 60th and she was blown away. The location was beautiful and the church inside and out is fab. The inside design and decor, every tiny detail has been thought about. The hosts are so lovely and took time out of their weekend to explain the features of the house. The house was super clean and had a lovely private outdoor garden for us to enjoy the views and sunshine. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough, and we will definitely book here again for any trips to Northumberland.

A group of friendly alpacas is seen grazing alongside a fenced area, set in a verdant countryside landscape. A playful dog is present among them, adding a lively element to the tranquil scene. The sky above is clear with scattered clouds, illuminating the pasture.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. the cottage was immaculate, high luxury, and very homely. The hosts were very helpful and friendly as well and very accommodating. the little village of folstone nearby had some nice places to eat and it was a perfect location for what we wanted to do. The only thing to watch out for is the road to the cottage which is heavy with potholes.

The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely wonderful stay at Treetops. From the moment you shut the gate you feel like the stresses of the outside world have disappeared! Everything has been thought of and more! We loved watching movies on the giant screen, playing darts on the deck and eating tapas whilst watching the cows in the field through the tree canopy. Lisa and Martin are on hand if you have a queries or need anything but you wouldn’t know anyone was nearby as the whole place is so secluded and private! We loved the outdoor shower, what a treat and enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain! If you are unsure of wondering if it’s worth the money, DON’T hesitate you will never regret it! A truly special place and you can see the effort in every detail!

Elishaw Farm - 2 Bed Farmhouse Cottage

CraigRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Fantastic place to stay with absolutely everything you need to just land and relex. Amazling log burning stove, full Internet access with Smart TV, kitchen had everything and more, beds very comfortable, beautiful surroundings, comfortable furniture. This was a last minute booking and we only intended on staying one night, hoever due to the heavy snow we ended up having to stay another night as our car couldnt make it through the snow. Sam (host) helped me dig the road out and get the car to the main road, provided us with milk and tea and even logs for our fire to keep us warm and accommodated us for another night until we were able to get home after the snow had passed. She most definitely went the exta mile and more. Highly recommended for a vist here and this will now become our go to cottage for a quite escape and weekends away. 100 out of 10 for service

Restored 1860s barn in a valley of it's own

Our second stay and hopefully won't be our last. Amazing location that is matched by the barn. Bliss. Simon once again was a great host and is always available if required
An outdoor hot tub is situated on a wooden deck, surrounded by bare trees with frosted branches. The serene river can be seen in the background, adding to the peacefulness of the natural setting.

A cosy warm wilderness yurt

DanielRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Tod yurt was amazing! We took our young daughter (4) and she thought it was "magical", the fairy-lights, candles, wood-burner, hot-tub, and starlight sky all added to this magical experience. The yurt is plenty big enough for a family of 3 or 4 (with small children) with different areas to sit and prepare food without feeling like you're on top of each other. Between the kitchen and the items in the yurt you have everything you need to make decent meals, even a cafetiere for those coffee lovers. If you want a relaxing off-grid experience (with on-grid amenities a couple of mins walk) I couldn't recommend this enough.
