House vacation rentals in Greater Plettenberg Bay

We loved our stay in Pansy Shell. It’s a fabulous, open plan house with a lovely garden and pool and the most extraordinary view, must be the best in Plett. All communication was very easy, Cynthia looked after us very well, as did the security company (a faulty key meant we saw night watchmen a few times). We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return.

We loved our stay at the poolhouse! Check in was easy and Tom and his colleagues were always fast to respond if we had questions. There are some restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the house is perfectly located near the water. We traveled with two small children and would without hesitation stay at the poolhouse again:)

It is a lovely home in a beautiful golf estate. Spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout. The sparkling pool area soon became our family favourite. Large relaxing couches ideal to spend time in the warm winter sun. Sanet (the rental agent) made us feel welcome, well informed & even assisted with our search of a particular restaurant. An impressive welcoming gift along with a personal enquiry as to our well being, from the owner. It’s a must for golfers & lovely to go for a jog / walk in the greater estate. We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

Cindy's place is great, with a wonderful outdoor entertainment and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable. Cindy was quick to reply to any queries or requests for assistance. Thanks Cindy!

Best house we had ever stayed at! House is huge, modern and even more amazing than in pictures. Everything is comfortable, views are absolutely incredible, neighborhood is beautiful and safe, location is perfect. Susan is an excellent host. We wish to be back soon!!!

We loved our stay at C25 The Island, Knysna Quays. It is a gorgeous home and so comfortable and homely. It is so beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a home away from home. We wished we could stay longer! Heather is a warm and engaging host - quick to respond and so happy to help with anything you need. Heather loves Knysna and is eager to share it with her guests. Our check-in was handled by her lovely daughter Jenna - which was quick and easy. We will definitely be back - it was everything we had hoped for and more.

Beautiful home with great ammenities. We loved staying there. It was so peaceful with lots to do around us. If we didn't want to go out we could braai and swim and ride bikes which was lovely. Would definitely reccommend staying there.

The location is very central for garden route Airbnb, activities, etc.! It is a little bit of an adventure to get to the actual unit but they have someone meet you and guide you the whole way. It is absolutely worth the drive up the cliff! The place is beautiful. The pool was heated. Views cannot be any better!

Wie schon beim letzten Mal war unser Aufenthalt in Kathys Cottage wunderbar. Kathy antwortet immer sofort auf irgendwelche Fragen. Das Cottage ist gemütlich und man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Es ist ausgestattet mit allem was man so braucht. Die Wohnanlage River Club ist unserer Meinung nach der beste Ort, um in Plett seine Ferien zu verbringen, insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern. Gepflegte Anlage, schöner Pool, Tennisplätze, Spielplatz... Und fußläufig sind Strand, Restaurants und ein kleine Supermarkt zu erreichen. Kleinere Kinder können sicher in der Wohnanlage alleine rumlaufen und spielen, größere Kinder können allein zum Strand und zum Supermarkt gehen. Was braucht man mehr für einen entspannten Familienurlaub!

What an amazing gem in the centre of Plettenberg Bay. We loved our stay for four nights. Great location, lots of space in the house for privacy and entertaining. Modern kitchen and outdoor area. Well priced considering all the place has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed at Maria’s lovely house and had a fantastic experience. The view was breathtaking, and the location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The house was incredibly well-equipped, making our stay super comfortable. We encountered a few minor challenges during our visit, but the owner handled them swiftly and professionally, ensuring everything was resolved quickly. Their responsiveness stood out and made a great impression. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d happily return. I highly recommend this place!

It was lovely returning to Christa & Josephs home. Joseph is always up for a good conversation & willing to share tips & valuable insights. Our stay was a wonderful escape from the demands of everyday life. Karin’s home is really beautiful and a very special location. Lovely walks to enjoy and the views are beyond beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool even though it was early autumn and with the pool solar heating it took the edge off. Surprisingly the kids did not complain about there being no TV. We had lots to do, games, walks, reading and exploring the area and local cafes. Worth a visit, we loved our stay!

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, man spürt, dass dieser Ort geliebt wird. Wunderschön dekoriert und für große Familien/Freunde geeignet. 4x Braai- Optionen!🤣 Danke, dass wir hier sein durften. Vielleicht ein Hinweis für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen oder Sportwagenfahrer: die Auffahrt/ Eingang ist ziemlich steil und hat keine Treppe.

We had a great time at Kim's place, the view from the deck alone was worth every cent. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremely spacious, coming and going was a breeze. thanks to the anti-bug mesh on the bedroom windows we could keep them open and have a constant supply of fresh and cool air which made the hot summer nights quite bearable (it's the little things that count). overall a lovely stay with zero issues. Big thanks to Vincent for giving us the tour :)

My wife and I were looking for a few days away from the hustle of the city. Found this absolutely stunning home, pictures understate just how stunning, peaceful and homely it is. We immediately felt at home, to the point of wanting to extend our stay. Lauriane is on the money, responsive. She provided directions to the T, communication on point. We enjoyed the peace, the stillness of just being. The birds. The air. The morning sun. Absolutely beautiful!! Thank you 🫶🏽

We had such a fantastic stay at Richards place. The house exceeded our expectations. Its a short walk to the lagoon, we could launch our boat on the lagoon and spend the morning on the water. The house is a 20 min drive from knysna where we could enjoy other amenities like quadbiking etc. We also got to enjoy the local farmers market in sedgefield. Richard was responsive and checked in to make sure we checked in easily and enjoying our stay. We were a group or 9 and the house felt very spacious. The hosts made sure every need was met. I'd definitely recommend staying at this accommodation.
