Wonderful stay - Frank was very helpful and his place was peaceful safe and clean - everything myself and my elderly parents needed.

What a beautiful oasis 😍 peaceful, relaxing and a real cabin feel! We went there to do some wedding planning and were greeting by a beautiful personalized board and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was a huge hit as well, we braved it at night and it was a perfect addition to the forest feel of the cabin. Liesl could not have executed the interior design any better, evey time you look around you see a new small detail of thought and care. Cannot wait for our next trip to Knysna, we will definitely be back!

The missus and I both agree this is one of the most beautiful weekend getaways we’ve experienced, from the moment you open those doors the view takes your breath away. Truly an incredible sight. Early morning coffee in the jacuzzi watching the sunrise was probably the highlight for us. Definitely worth every penny.

Beatrice provided a beautiful stay, a home away from home. She was very proactive with messages and checked we had got in safe etc ☺️ the setting is beautiful with good security and activities for younger kids. Knysna is within walking distance but we chose to drive for personal reasons but everything was easy enough to find. The complex is very peaceful and we enjoyed the space so much! this little gem nestled in the tranquil lush valley of the wilderness forest was fully equipped with added extras like candles; yoga mats; a beach umbrella; ground coffee; olive oil. being two creative beings, we appreciated the fun splashes of yellow around the cottage 💛 because of its remote location, mobile reception was very limited to non-existent so be prepared to disappear off the grid. perfect for a city-life detox.

I literally love everything about this charming place! The cottage is so cozy and the view out to the valley is so calming. The patio is in a class of its own, a fantastic birdlife unfolds right before your eyes and there is constant singing for those who appreciate nature, world class! Anel is everything you could want in a host in short! and she bakes absolutely amazing bread! I would love to stay longer here!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful cottage for our family bringing along our two sausage dogs too. Beautiful and peaceful farm, we would have loved to stay longer.

Thank you so much Katherine and our wonderful host, your mother, Sheila. We so enjoyed staying at Sunbird Cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was light, had a fresh, upgraded feel about it. So much thought had gone into the tastefully decorated, super-comfortable living spaces with beautiful pine touches and appropriate accessories. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the afternoon sun. The trees surrounding the cabin gave privacy and welcomed the birds. A special treat was the coffee shop on the property, where we enjoyed a light lunch. This was beyond our expectation and an extremely restful weekend. Thank you so much.

Thank you for a wonderful stay and welcoming us into your home. Great communication. Easy check in and out. This was absolutely what we needed, a relaxing week away from the city and our busy schedules. Everything was clean and exactly like the pictures. The views were simply stunning. We got to switch off from the outside distractions and reconnect with each other. Everything that was needed was there - there was even firewood for the fireplace. The location really is perfect and a short distance to outdoor markets and activities for the kids. We really enjoyed our week’s stay and will hopefully come back in the future.

This is a lovely secluded tiny home with everything you need in tranquil surroundings. The final section of dirt road was easily negotiated with a small rental car.

Porcupine Lodge is a rustic cabin set on a lovely working farm in the most incredibly beautiful surroundings. Our kids loved feeding the donkeys and seeing the farm animals everyday. Owners very helpful. Would definitely return!

My stay was a unique experience. The views from the house were incredible, even better than the pictures advertised. Very easy check in and no issues with getting in and out etc. The only issue we had was that there was a power outage on the second day, but that's to be expected in South Africa. Susan, was great to communicate the issue and progress updates. She even offered us a free extra night if we wanted to stay a little longer. Would love go back one day and I highly recommend this spot.

Our stay at Matilda & Dean’s stunning home in Wilderness was absolutely unforgettable. The 180-degree sea views are simply breathtaking—pictures don’t do it justice! Every detail in the home was on point, from the cozy fireplace in the lounge to the thoughtful addition of heaters in each bedroom, which made the entire space warm and inviting despite the winter chill. The property is not only beautiful but incredibly comfortable, and you can tell that every effort has been made to ensure guests feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better winter getaway. Highly recommended!

This is a beautifully secluded location providing wonderful views and complete peace. We watched a variety of wildlife from our veranda while eating breakfast. Dan took us on two long drives around the enormous and varied reserve and he was informative and helpful throughout. The accommodation surpassed what we were expecting and we loved the whole experience.
