Monthly Rentals in Great Strickland

A Great Place all the amenities you need and complimentary foods left which was a very nice !A cosy place and spacious !Great hosts recommended a great place to eat locally .Will be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at the Granary Flat just outside Penrith. The flat was beautifully kept, comfortable, and had everything we needed, with plenty of space to relax and get ready for a nearby wedding. The host was really helpful before our arrival, providing lots of useful local information. The peaceful farm setting made it even more special. Highly recommended!

My partner, two dogs and I stayed one night in the Dolly Yurt, on our way back from Scotland. It was a welcome pitstop to break up the long drive back. The Yurt itself was spacious, and perfect for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well heated. We had a lovely dinner in the pub (for which Anton was really helpful getting us a table that was tucked out of the way, so the dogs could lay down with us in the bar), before settling in for the night to watch Netflix (the WiFi signal is great!). The only negative thing I'd comment on, which I didn't realise when booking, is that the Yurt is attached to another Yurt - and there were people staying in the other Yurt, also with a dog. So when that dog barked, it set ours off barking, and vice versa. I hope the barking didn't upset other guests. Also, quite funny, but the smoke alarm was sensitive to the aerosol deodorant, and started beeping in the morning!! At least we knew it worked!

Andri is an excellent host! She gave us the warmest of welcomes, got the fire started and allowed us to drop our things before the apartment was ready. Everything was as described and left clean and tidy for us. Before we got there she sent clear, easy to follow directions and had lots of recommendations for local walks and pubs. Her place was very dog friendly too! We had a lovely time.
