We absolutely love this place. Our second visit didn’t disappoint and we will definitely be back. Literally everything provided, host quick to answer queries, local co op for anything you don’t take, stunning scenery, lovely walks and a fabulous hot tub to end the day. Just perfect 👌

We only stayed 2 nights but Thelma’s place was excellent. Very clean and tidy, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. A lovely place to relax especially in your own little garden space to the side, which is where I spend most of my time! Thelma is a lovely lady and correspondence with her was first class. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back for a longer stay when we can.

We had a great couple of nights at Stephen’s place with our little boy. Nice and cosy with equipped kitchen, as well as some essentials such as milk, butter, bread, fruit etc. Great location for exploring, walking and days out. Would stay again.

The accommodation was wonderful and very comfortable. Excellent quality bedding, towels and furniture. We (pregnant lady, husband and elderly mother) instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much. There were thoughtful touches throughout like good quality toiletries, (organic!) milk, tea and biscuits, etc. The terrace and garden were also a real treat. Care, generosity and attention to detail was evident. One of the best places we stayed during our three week trip in the UK. Claire gave clear instructions and was very responsive. Thank you, Claire! We look forward to returning one day.

From the moment you arrive you are surrounded by Cotswolds charm & tranquility. This is a very special place. A pleasure to have met Mark on arrival & upon entering the Hayloft you immediately see how both owners have put their heart and soul into making such a special space. It's truly magical & like other reviews have said before, one of the best Airbnbs out there for sure! Being a local I know the area & I don't think it gets much better than this. Your stress melts away literally the minute you arrive. The generous goodies were so welcomed local bread, bacon, sausages, butter, eggs and milk the kitchen was so well stocked you dont need for anything! Quality luxurious linens, super comfy bed, fluffy towels the luxuries are all there. Spotlessly clean & delighted to have a luxury shower room & also a luxury bathroom. Quiet location & utterly picturesque. The cows in the field where you park was one of the highlights, so calming. Our new fave place. Thank you Mark & Katie

Wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings with views out to Windermere. Elizabeth was a great host, excellent comunication and very welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious too!

Lovely cosy and comfortable little house in a beautiful location. Ideal for a short break and great that it is dog friendly - short stroll to beautiful beach and coastal walks. Communication with Liz was excellent and the welcome cream tea on arrival was a real treat. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come again

Great place in a great location. The area around Dungeness is unique and the close proximity of the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway and the odd light aircraft from nearby Lydd airport are icing on the cake. If you bring bikes (we did) there’s lots of easy cycling around the Ness and Romney Marsh with two decent pubs just a mile or so away from the shack and plenty of places to see locally. For trips by car slightly farther away, Rye is a must as is Dover castle. Although this a ‘shack’ it has a good bedroom that closes off from the lounge & kitchen, a very large & comfortable bed, a decent kitchen area, (fridge, freezer, microwave, oven & hob) good shower & toilet facilities, large screen tv and a nice decking area overlooking the Ness (you might want to bring a couple of comfy deckchairs, we did and spent several evenings on the patio). The host (Wayne) was very helpful & friendly and was often on hand if we’d had any problems (we didn’t) 😀

Fantastic stay at Sandra and Chris’s. This was our 2nd visit and would not hesitate to stay again. Perfect for our family in a clean, comfortable and well equipped place. The garden is fantastic, which you can explore at your leisure.

We booked this for the day after our wedding for a little mini-moon and it was perfect… calm, peaceful and relaxing, all what you want after planning a wedding! The Annexe is beautiful with contemporary and stylish interior but feels very welcoming and homely. The view of the countryside outside the back door was lovely and we loved feeding the chickens and enjoyed saying hello to the cats! We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be looking to revisit! Thank you again Sophie and Joe for providing such a beautiful place to stay!

So peaceful & relaxing, the place is very clean, dressing gowns were a lovely touch, hot tub amazing, fresh bread, prosecco & crisp on arrived was a lovely treat. Hannah is an excellent host, responds to questions very quickly, and very informative & helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone Thank you Hannah for letting us stay, we loved it.

Jane and her place was lovely, I booked this for my wife’s 30th birthday and she loved it! Very peaceful place and we both enjoyed using the BBQ and Hot tub. Jane gave some good recommendations, the town is about a 20 minute drive and has some great food places around the area. I would definitely visit again one day.

Stunning location, beautiful lodge with every detail thought about. Fiona was quick to answer us when we had a question. We had the best time and it was clear that Fiona takes pride in her accommodation and making sure people have a fabulous time. There were lovely little touches that made it special. We can not wait to return.

Absolutely amazing! Beautiful property in a beautiful location. One of the most peaceful weekends I've had and perhaps the best Airbnb I've stayed in. The quality of finish across the whole property was outstanding, super high quality and clean. Fully stocked kitchen was a treat to cook in as well. Tamzin's instructions were amazing with great recommendations and she was super fast to respond and helpful throughout. Having your own tennis court was just the cherry on top and so much fun! We loved it so much we even extended our stay slightly because we didn't want to go home. Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully visit again soon.

A really beautiful, homely cottage with the most wonderful view over the little lake. It does get some background noise from the nearby motorway but it's easy to tune out and forget when in this lovely spot. Laura was very friendly over message and set up everything very nicely for our short stay. Thank you!

Thank you Jacqueline for a wonderful stay at the Granary Cottage. Such a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. Spotlessly clean and every luxury laid on. The bedroom here is the highlight, it's a dream, would be hard to imagine a nicer place to sleep. We stayed for 4 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Hosts Jacqui and Ian were wonderfully helpful and welcoming. Would give 6 stars if we could.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful annex! Very private and you can walk down the street to a local pub. Easy driving distance to the Farmer's Dog Pub and Diddly Squat Farm Shop if you are Clarkson's Farm fans. We would love to stay again!

What an absolutely gorgeous stay in a beautiful location. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived, the lodge was spotless and the hot tub and pool a real treat. The lodge is surrounded by stunning gardens making it feel very peaceful and secluded, the perfect spot for a girls staycation. Becky was really accommodating and always on hand to answer any questions. Thank you. We look forward to returning already!

Such a lovely place to stay! The house was very cosy and beautifully done, and the area around it is stunning - really peaceful and scenic. The hosts were amazing too - so friendly and quick to reply if we needed anything. We would 100% come back!

We stayed at Imogen's for 4 nights. She made a very nice bed for our 18 month old daughter, left her books and bricks to play with. The view from the window was beautiful, we loved seeing the dog around, the kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. Would highly recommend :)

We absolutely loved our short stay in this cute wee bothy, which is like a luxury cabin above Andrea and Gregor’s garage. It’s incredibly quiet and private despite being very close to their house. There’s even some decking to enjoy the Scottish sunshine!. It’s beautifully fitted out, really comfortable, cosy and warm. We stayed one night to break up a long journey south after our NC500 trip, but hung around the area the next morning to visit the Wallace Monument, a 2 minute car ride up the hill. Would happily have stayed longer to visit the area’s other attractions if we could. Thoroughly recommended.

Every single thing about this experience has been amazing. We really did not want to leave. The host obviously has enormous pride in providing a five star stay and this shone through from the moment we arrived. The cottage, the views, the hot tub, the cleanliness, the privacy, the small touches. Great example of someone getting it absolutely right. If you are lucky enough that it’s available, book it!

The perfect spot for a much-needed peaceful getaway. The accommodation was beautiful, with lovely extra touches like locally made soap, homemade jam and not only a coffee machine but also a milk frother! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and waking up to the sound of cuckoos was bliss. Michael was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful but also left us to our own devices so we felt very secluded and private. We loved walking, cycling and swimming in the river nearby as well as getting out to explore the local towns, having been recommended some great places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Thanks Karen, We had a fantastic night's stay at the barn. Karen’s communication was great and she left clear instructions for our stay. The barn was spotless and it felt very comfortable from the moment we walked through the door. The Japanese whirlpool bath was just amazing. Would definitely recommend and return!
