Hut vacation rentals in Great Britain

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Absolutely lovely place to stay . Andrew was the perfect host. Loved the idea of staying on farm . Quiet, peaceful Just what we were looking for . But facilities were well with in 5 mins in Consett what ever you need . We would rally recommend for the perfect stay xx

We had a relaxing week long stay here and absolutely loved it. The hut is kitted out with everything we needed, and for those used to hit stays it is perfect. The bed is comfortable and therrs plenty of space. We were treated to amazing dawn & dusk choruses, as well as seeing various wildlife from the hut including hares, pheasants, chiff chaff & even house martins. The hosts are warm and friendly, and the cake on arrival was delicious! We're already looking forward to another visit!

Such a lovely stay! All you need was there! Private and secluded, overlooked some fields of horses/alpacas and pigs. Even had some friendly visitors of the chickens and kitty! Was so comfy laid in bed with the projector tv with the log fire burning! After an evening of being in the hot tub! Had a tour of the farm and met all the animals, hosts were so friendly and welcoming! Such lovely food nearby and delivery if needed. Likewise only a short drive into Leicestershire city centre for lots more to do! Highly recommend!!!

We last visited Tessa's place 8 years previous and we can honestly say that it's got even better than the last time. The gardens are beautiful and it was so peaceful. Just what we needed.

We loved our stay in the shepherd's hut. We wanted a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and it was exactly that. We were rained in for one day but it ended up being our favourite experience- the hut is so cosy, everything you need is to hand, and we could sit and watch the scenery for hours. On the sunnier days there is a short walk to the coast path and the views of the coastline. The toilet and shower is the perfect set up, we also loved the outside bath and the wood stove.

Peaceful and quiet location with sheep and alpaca in the neighbouring fields. Sitting outside the shepherds hut we could see the sea in the distance - same view from the hot tub. Very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed for our short break.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities provided made the stay feel just like home. Our host was fantastic—very responsive, kind, and helpful with local recommendations. Fiona and Nigel created a beautiful space to stay for anyone who wants a peaceful getaway! I proposed to my now fiancé here and Fiona helped to give this place a romantic setup while we were out for food. She did a brilliant job! Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back again!

Had a beautiful time at The Great Escape! Such a peaceful place with lush surroundings. The hot tub was such a treat and the hut was very clean with all the amenities you could need. Would absolutely come back!

Lovely night away for our wedding anniversary. Host Steve very welcoming and showed us to the hut. The space was perfect. We had a lovely relaxing, peaceful time together. Just what we needed. Will book again!

We had such a wonderful stay in ‘The Nook at Newalls’. It was private and peaceful and had everything we needed. We had some stormy weather during one of the evenings, but we were cosy and warm in the hut with the log burner lit! Taxi into Kendal cost £9 where we had a gorgeous Sunday dinner at ‘Ye Olde Fleece Inn’. Windermere was a 20 minute drive where we did a great short walk up to Orrest Head for the most incredible views. The hut is a great base for exploring the Lake District - highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend had the most amazing time here! So many amazing little touches with the welcome basket, the hot tub being lit for our arrival and we loved the themed hut. Unfortunately it was too cloudy for us to use the telescope but we hope to be back for some stargazing another time. The hosts were really informative prior to our arrival and we were left completely to our privacy. Firewood was available (for free) if we needed more and the grounds were so peaceful and relaxing. The hut had an amazingly comfy bed, really well equipped kitchen and the bath… such a luxury. This was a really special place. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Wow - what a magical place to stay. Daniel has created a beautiful get-away, and so close to the beach. We were amazed at the craft that has gone into making the shephard's hut, hot tub and sauna, and the garden room! Hot tub: We enjoyed our prosecco in the hot tub which was great. The tub has colour changing lights and got nice and hot. It was quite dark and stormy when we went in which only added to the experience! We just kept saying "wow." Lovely white towel robes too. Sauna: Sauna was fab and heated up very quickly. Cold shower close by to cool down with. Garden room: lovely little chill out area. Little hang drum, a guitar (bottom string missing), ukulele and a cool darts board which was great fun (dart plastic a bit worn) but nonetheless great fun. Shephards hut: very cosy, comfy bed and great nights sleep. Bathroom clean and great smelling soap. Area: relaxed, and local JJ's chippy was excellent and had great food at Paul Jones restaurant. Lots of shells on the beach

We had a beautiful stay at greystone lodge everything was perfect and clean. Easy instructions on how to use services like the hot tub which was beautiful and had a great view. Carly was a great host, very helpful and answered any queries within minutes. We will definitely be returning!

We had an amazing stay at Peacock hut in Diggle with absolutely stunning views. The hut was everything we could have wished for. It’s very well equipped, has a super comfy bed & a nice hot shower. Lovely walks nearby & would definitely recommend a trip to Diggle Lock cafe. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place if you’re after a nice relaxed break. We’ll be back again & hopefully this time it won’t be raining & we can make use of the bbq & fire pit.

The accommodation is situated in a beautiful garden surrounded by amazing views and greenery, and is in a great location for nearby walks and is a very cosy place to stay!

We had a really lovely time in the cabin with our two dogs for our mini-moon! The space had everything you could need and was fully equipped with high quality amenities and furnishings. A lot of attention to detail has clearly gone into it and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The surroundings were really pretty and there are plenty of lush farm shops and restaurants nearby. My favourite villages Broadway and Bourton on the water were only a short drive away so the location was perfect for us! I would also like to say a huge thanks to Tom and Kate for bringing me an inhaler when my hayfever was really bad - that was so appreciated. The addition of an iron would be really handy and another mirror in order to plug in electricals outside of the bathroom.

Amazing stay, easy check in with fun and great use of a golf buggy to get to the cabins. The cabin itself was kitted out perfectly with a super comfy bed. The additional extras were great especially the bbq kit. Overall we had a great stay and hope to return!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The accommodation had everything we needed it was clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evening. The setting is stunning – surrounded by nature and incredibly peaceful. What truly stood out, though, was the kindness of the hosts. When we got a flat tyre, Adam kindly took me to the local garage and helped arrange a replacement for the next morning. The glowing reviews are absolutely justified as this place is exceptional in every way. We couldn’t recommend it more and we will definitely return!

Had an absolutely fantastic stay here with my partner. The location is private and quiet with incredible views surrounded by hundreds of sheep. The swimming lake nearby was so beautiful I proposed to my partner on one of the boats! Katie was a great host and responsive throughout. Soaking in the hot tub was a welcome treat after a long drive from Cornwall. We’ll certainly be back in the future as this place now holds some great memories for us.

Excellent stay at the Shepard’s hut, it’s a cosy and quirky little place.. bed was comfy and the hot tub was great in morning and after a long day. Kate and Nathan were really friendly and helpful it’s also a lovely area . Would highly recommend

Shepherds hut was probably our favourite Air bnb so far! Being greeted by Jane was a lovely start to our holiday, she made us feel right at home. The hut itself is perfectly decorated, cosy and clean. Every detail was so carefully considered and Jane had even moved some sheep into the overlooking field for us which made our stay feel magical. We loved the hot tub and views - we watched the sunset one night and sat in the rain listening to the birds on the other, which really felt like a spa experience! This was our first holiday with our puppy, he loved the sheep and they even came to say hello! We had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible (playing cards, dog treats, tasty Welsh cakes). We 100% want to return, our only regret was not booking an extra night - there’s plenty to explore on the farm and nearby. Our puppy refused to get in the car when he realised we were packed up to go home! Thank you Jane for doing such a great job ❤️🌲

This place is a slice of heaven. We enjoyed our stay so much and didn’t want to leave. The hut is beautiful and all the lovely little touches really make it, we can’t fault it at all. Helen is a great host, really helpful and responsive. Thanks again Helen & James for helping us with our flat tyre!
