Self contained appartment

We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. We’ll definitely be returning and have already recommended this place to our friends and family. Thanks again, Billy, for such a memorable stay! Kind regards, The Brice’s

Historic Highland Home on Loch Ness

We’ve stayed in some very impressive Air B&Bs across the world but this was far and away the most impressive. It was an extraordinary experience staying in the apartment in the old school building. The view from the great windows was breathtaking and everything inside the apartment was so well done - would highly recommend, in fact it’s a Must if coming to Loch Ness & the western Highlands.

Balvaird Wing at Scone Palace

PeterRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a treat. The bedrooms were grand but comfortable. The lounge full of deep chairs with reading matter and other entertainment for the rainy days. The kitchen was equipped enough to create your own banquet. Pictures on the walls were reminders of the history and characters of this Neo Georgian palace. Outside the parkland and gardens were ideal to wander around especially early morning and evening with the Pinetum and vegetable garden being highlights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hosts provided us with all relevant contact and access details plus a very welcome basket of local goodies. The staff at Scone Palace were a delight, very informative and welcoming. The cafe downstairs was also ideal was a quick coffee and snack. A good visit all round with added peacocks for decorative company.

The lodge was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a dream and the host was great. Made sure we had what we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Probably one of the best views we’ve had while enjoying our breakfast. Would absolutely recommend East Lodge and will have to come back

Castle Gatehouse, Tower at Sudeley Castle

MikeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Great location and such a cool experience staying in the gatehouse. Will definitely come back. If you have young kids the sleeping arrangements require some compromise but we made it work. The interior could do with a touch up, it was looking a little tired but that’s me being picky. Great place to stay and free entry to the castle is well worth it

Glengorm Castle: West Wing

RosaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
One of our most memorable stays. The west wing of Glengorm is extremely well appointed, with lovely rooms, great kitchen, home-like atmosphere and stunning views. The walls to the sea were breathtaking and invigorating. The sheep were so picturesque, the surprise of the standing stones and seaside cliffs made us so thankful that we booked this spot on Mull. The cafe was a treat, with great Scotts breakfast and cakes! The Aga stove was a treat to cook with. All our guests were overjoyed as were we! We will return!

A wonderful stay to celebrate our history buff friend - truly felt like staying in the castle itself! We used all Ed’s and a sofa. Which was comfy, and even booked the extra bedroom. The walks around the gate house are wonderful and provide great views. Hosts are super responsive and very helpful, and we even made use of the 25% at the castle during our stay.

The Clock Tower, Upper House Estate

CraigRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Peaceful location tucked away in a beautiful part of the Peak District. The accommodation did not disappoint. It felt very exclusive. The check in information was clear and unambiguous. We appreciated the heads up to purchase supplies prior to arrival as the nearest supermarket is probably a 15 minute drive away. The accommodation had everything you could need and that would expect from a luxury hotel, with the addition of cooking facilities. We were able to walk straight from the accommodation on the circular route of Kinder scout. It was then a short drive to a lovely local pub for dinner.
A historic stone castle is nestled against a backdrop of lush greenery and a gentle stream. The structure features large windows and a glass balcony that extends over the water, blending with the natural surroundings. The sunset casts warm hues over the landscape.

Pele Tower is a beautifully and lovingly restored building, and Ann and Andy have thought of pretty much everything. Every time we needed something, it was already there. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and got us immediately set up for the week. The pictures are 100% representative and in fact don’t do it justice. Ann and Andy are absolutely lovely too. Had a lovely week working from Killington and exploring the area and would very much recommend.

We wanted something peaceful and in the countryside and this was perfect. A little town nearby for a wander round and a good pub for a nice meal at The Raven. The log burner was a great feature for us too to be able to sit and chat and relax in the evening. If you want to get away from your everyday routine modern life this will be as perfect for you as it was for us. Also the hosts responded quickly and were really friendly and helpful.
