Monthly Rentals in Great Asby

A few days away after the Easter BH weekend in the lakes and we couldn’t have chosen a better base. Steve was fantastic host and showed us around when we arrived. He also sent a great little itinerary if we wanted to visit any of the main areas which was also really good. The property and facilities were exactly as described (literally a home away from home) and we settled in right away. We only had a few night here but are already looking at planning a return. Thank you Steve for a lovely few days away.

This was our first holiday as a family of 3 and it was perfect. The location is gorgeous, tucked away but close enough for a car ride to local villages. The cottage itself is well equipped with what’s needed for a long stay. It has a variety of cooking appliances and other items. We loved the quirky style of the kitchen and the upside down living aspect. We had the log burner on a few nights and it was super cosy. On a morning we had our morning coffee and tea out on the balcony and it was so peaceful. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. I would 100% stay again.

Perfect little spot for our mum's 70th. Gorgeous little house in a beautiful village. Comfy beds, lovely garden for the dogs and everything we needed for one of the best weekends ever. Rosie was really communicative and helpful. Couldn't recommend more!

Harry was accessible and very helpful when we messaged about the property and our stay. It was lovely and they were exceptionally helpful- when leaving out a travel cot (we didn't even ask!) When we said we had our baby with us. There was complementary milk and other lovely amenities left including tea, biscuits and toiletries. It was beautifully decorated with exceptionally comfortable beds!! Was almost sad to go home to my own bed lol. Place was easy to find and the local area has lots of lovely places to eat / explore. Lovely en suite and nice water pressure. It was a beautiful and fitting place for our first night away as a family- we'd love to come back ❤️. Only thing I'd say (not their fault) but we found the microwave a bit difficult to work out but we got there in the end.
