There is a rich diversity of species in forests and wildlife. The cabin has both a terrace with dining table and hammock and its own small garden. The small farm is located at 266 m.a.s.l. About 20 minutes drive from Flåm city center. We live in the house next door, so if there should be anything, just get in touch. The downhill to the small farm is steep, but we also have parking up by the road if needed.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

Granvin is a nice starting point for trips in Hardanger, Sognefjorden and Bergen ☀️ -20 min to Voss which is the commercial center for the region. -30 min to Eidfjord with Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen and Hardangervidda -70 mins to Odda - 1 hour 50 min to Bergen There are bus connections to Voss, Ulvik and Odda.

There is one parking space outside the cabin, but one of the main parking spaces is nearby. Great hiking opportunities in the area that can be experienced through all 4 seasons!
