Our second time staying here in Grandola. Love the beautiful garden space, great to enjoy a glass of wine outside. Went for a nice hike in the cork forest hills south of the city as well. A great weekend escape!

I had a great time at Anabela's place. The house is very pretty and clean, looks like the photos, and it is set in a very quiet village, with beautiful view to the surrounding mountains. If you want a quiet, tranquil place for your stay, this is perfect. Anabela is very friendly and helpful. There are lots to do in the neighbourhood, with a car it is very easy to get around. I was without a car, and even on foot it was easy to get around: the beach is just 1 hour walk from the house, there are frequent bus connections to Sintra, Corales and Cascais, the bus stop is approx. 20 minutes walk from the house. I highly recommend Anabela's place, I had a great time there, wish I could have stayed longer.

Tiago is a great host. The house is in great condition, very beautiful, fully renovated, with all the necessary utensils and the location is perfect for a weekend in the calm of Alentejo.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

10/10! The host was very pro active and the house was perfect. We had an incredible weekend at the house where we highly enjoyed the pool and the whole garden with it's amenities like the bbq and table tennis. Highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, yet luxurious place for a bigger group that wants to spend some quality time together in the sun.

This place was incredibly beautiful and very well appointed. For us, it was a perfect home base to explore from. The gardens of the house were the perfect place to relax and the views were incredibly beautiful. Host was very responsive and helpful with local logistics (we were coming without a car). The only drawback is that the house was quite damp - especially the main bedroom - but even knowing that I'd be tempted to return because of how beautiful it was.

We had a very nice time. Susana is a super host, very friendly and always attentive to our needs during the stay. Her house is beautiful, the place is amazing. We really enjoyed the pool, fed the mini goats and had delicious roasted sardines for dinner. Really, it's really nice. We hope to return soon.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Everything was perfect and we would have loved to stay longer. Joyce is an excellent host and very supportive with all questions you have!

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

Absolute peace! We had three wonderful days with Sonia with the best sunsets. Rarely had such a clean kitchen. Very nice family, children are a bit older and therefore very quiet. Super fast response and always available. We will be back :-)

Unfortunately I couldn't stay but Roberta was fantastic start to finish and I look forward to rebooking this amazing place soon. Thank you.

It is impossible not to like the space, the house, the garden, the environment, the pool, the privacy that you get, the courtesy of those who welcome us, the refinement of every detail. An experience to have and repeat. Beautiful sunset from the snack bar. Possibility of late check-out and completely unbureaucratized. The mill is excellent for a faster passage (two or three days). The best homes for stays longer than 3 days. Other properties of the Selão da Eira are very tempting, although in my opinion they are for different stays - Casa das Rolas for stays for larger groups of guests and the Paraiso de Natureza for liberation from the daily hustle and bustle. Finally, a reference to Mr. Tiago's kindness and availability.

Beautifully renovated and decorated house in a very traditional village/small town. The garden with its cooling pool and dining/chilling area was equally beautifully presented as per listing. Although a car is needed to visit the area and for restaurants etc, Casa Arnaldo is in a great location for exploring the area including fantastic beaches, vineyards and historical sites, which Cristina informed us about providing plenty of useful information to make the most of our stay.

It was a wonderful stay! The house was very well equipped, from amenities to utensils. The space, in addition to being full of activities - from the pool to the volleyball net - was very well fenced and was very private and quiet. The hosts are always available and very, very helpful! Definitely a place to recommend and return!

David's place in Odeceixe is sublime. we had the best time here with our small daughter using the pool and the bbq and enjoying the stunning local beaches. We will definitely come back again

We were able to relax immediately in the beautiful ambiance. There are many nice little places nearby, good restaurants and great hiking opportunities, among other things, on the coast and in the cork forests. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, well equipped and sparkling clean. Antje and Reiner welcomed us warmly and were also great hosts. Thank you, happy to come back!

An incredible place with an amazing atmosphere. A spacious property located in a quiet area surrounded by forest, offering complete privacy and relaxation. The house is stunning, decorated with exceptional style. We felt extremely comfortable here. Beautiful place. Loved the deck and view of the street. Very clean, had all we needed (except blow dryer but in fairness I didn’t look at amenities to check). There were 4 of us, 1 couple, myself & my brother. The 2 bedrooms were great, all beds comfy. I was in the loft which was fine, was helpful to have the fan to circulate the air. Did admittedly bump my head a bunch of times, being 5’3 I’m wasn’t use to being careful about that. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Good location, go up the hill to the better restaurants we found. Nice health food market right down the street where we got snacks, milk, etc, & a nice coffee/breakfast place very close too. The place has lots of lights and is nicely decorated. Felt very comfortable, 5 star. The host was very responsive which is always a plus. Was great having a washer/dryer, and we could hang clothes on the deck also. One note is it is very unsafe getting out of the 2nd bathroom tub/shower, could use some kind of step stool. We all agreed would recommend & stay
