Vacation rentals with lake access in Grândola

The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.

We arrived late at night and where we are from, graffiti indicates a rough area so we were a bit concerned. During the day though, the scene showed its true colours and everyone local was amazing to us. The place itself was spotless, the bathroom was hidden in what looked like a pantry and we had a good laugh about thinking we were crazy for not being able to see a bathroom. I would definitely spend an extended stay here in the future.

We had a very nice and peaceful stay at casa Atejo. It's a place to connect with nature, to deconnect with the ratrace. The house is renovated wonderful, the fireplace is a big plus. It makes the house even more comfy and pleasant. We had a good contact with Boris and his sister by message and by the website AirBnb. Thank you for the wonderful week we had!

Jose's place was amazing! He and his team had great communication, we're very responsive and helpful. Place is well organized and has everything you need, just a great place to relax and the surrounding area is beautiful

We had a great stay at Patrick's villa. Communication was excellent; he responded quickly to any queries, even printing off Latin revision homework for our granddaughter and dropping it at the house, which she really appreciated. As a mixed generations group it worked perfectly as a house, with 2 suites downstairs and 2 upstairs, all with full bathrooms. At night shutters could be lowered automatically which gave added security when travelling with 2 little girls and also ensured a good night's sleep without early morning sun waking us. Air conditioning was good with individual controls The kitchen was well equipped, everything provided. The pool was lovely, a good size and pleasantly warm, although as a minor point softer sunbeds would be a bonus. We made full use of the table tennis and pool tables, as well as using the bbq which is at the rear of the garden. The beaches are vast, a very peaceful area without the commercialism of the Algarve. Hallo, we stayed at the property at the end of September/early October and immediately felt at home there. We were warmly and uncomplicatedly received, everything was clean and well appointed. If we were missing something, we could contact Andrea via mobile phone and she took care of it immediately. The property and surroundings were very nice, quiet and well maintained. We really enjoyed finding a piece of nature and tranquility there and greeting the chickens, sheep and cats every day and found it very nice to see how much the owners love the animals and nature. It was perfect for coming down and relaxing. The property is also a great starting point for trips to the beach or to the nearby places with beautiful restaurants. We highly recommend it!!

This place is really special. Peaceful, beautiful and gorgeous. The water was warm and clear. All the different paths had a wide variety of flowers and trees and were amazing. The hosts were lovely and the various dogs were very companionable. We didn’t want to leave, and hope to go back one day.

The apartment matches the description and is very nice and clean. Good place to stay with kids. The view is also pretty good. The location is actually very convenient. There is a ferry nearby (5 min walk) that shuttles every 15 minutes or so. It's inexpensive and it transfers you to the historical center. There are no traffic jams in the Tagus river so the travel time is below 10 minutes. There is a pedestrian street with a lot of restaurants nearby (100m). Unlike many places in tourist areas these are good. And it is possible to order food in one of them while boarding the ferry and pick up when on the other side. Very convenient after the whole day in the city.

This is truly a gem of an Airbnb. The view from the front door is breathtaking. The kitchen is very functional, the living space is very spacious, and it's right up a hill from a trail that goes along the cliffside next to the Lizandro river to the sea. you can walk to the Sao Julio beach in ~35 minutes on this beautiful trail. the adjacent town of Ericiera is excellent, plenty of good restaurants. the bathroom looks a little strange on the listing but was extremely functional! it had great water pressure and a large hot water tank. The only issue was it is a little noisy on the weekends, but it's quite tolerable.

We were delighted with our stay. Miguel responded to each of our requests. Very nice accommodation. Very quiet Parking in front of the house. Really, everything was perfect.

the location of the house was quite good, the house was generally clean, the host was quite helpful and guided. In general, everything was perfect, the stairs at the entrance of the house were a little dangerous and not suitable for children and disabled people, I fell down the stairs once, but everything else was perfect.

Great apartment in great location. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the sunshine and people watch. Really good to have a parking space although narrow entrance and exit. Really good sushi restaurant in the complex. We had a lovely stay.

Alexandra’s apartment is absolutely lovely! It is a very traditional apartment, with everything you need, and the space was surprisingly roomy for the city. Our only challenge was that it isn’t close to public transportation. The neighborhood is walkable, with great restaurants and bars, but train and metro stations were a 15-20 min walk. It didn’t sound like much when booking, but it adds up after long days of sightseeing.

David’s place was great! Right by the beach, kitchen was decently equipped, and the WiFi was fast (800+ Mbps). Perfect little spot for the price. Would stay here again!

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

The lovingly renovated house is perfect for anyone who loves nature and the garden, is looking for peace and relaxation and yet wants to get to know the Algarve. Communication with Jan is quick and straightforward - we had the best time with him during our vacation.

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

It was a great stay! Five stars, very quiet, stylish apartment, beautiful landscape, we love the horses and dogs. Service (vegetables, eggs etc.) was wonderful too. Thanks a lot, Celine, Angélica and husband!

This house has a good energy and was designed to do so. The pictures do not do it justice. It has everything we can need and everything went well. I will return without thinking :-)

We liked everything about the stay in casa Mimosa. It sure isn’t a place to party, it is a location to enjoy peace and quiet. Casa mimosa house is divided to two halves, but it isn’t a problem at all - there is enough privacy and terraces are located separately. The house is well equipped and clean. Lovely garden that you can explore freely. Sometimes there is a baker who brings fresh bread to the reception area. Prem welcomed us kindly and took us and our luggage to the house, recommended local hiking trails, restaurants etc. It was wonderful to relax in total peacefulness, the sleep quality was epic.

I've stayed at Anabela's a few years back and loved it that I came back this year. Anabela is lovely and she has uograded her place in the kast years with apool area. I love the remote Location and the mood around her place, Its is cosy with many places to hang out in hammocks. You can BBQ, there is even a Pizza oven. I can only highly recommend this charming house.
