Cottage vacation rentals in Grândola

An exceptional secluded paradise. We stayed there for a week to visit the Algarve and were there as a couple and with our dogseta who was delighted. Silvia provided us with instructions to get to the house properly (not following the gps). The place is very quiet, secluded and is reached by a flattened dirt trail between vineyards. The house is wooden and very big and spacious. It has a large enclosed deck ideal for being read there or playing board games. The house is well finished and secluded and has screens on all windows. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the utensils and some basic ingredients. The garden is wide with a very clean pool, of which Silvia takes care of daily without disturbing. Silvia has made it easy for us any needs and we are very happy about it; we repeat the stay without a doubt.

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

Lovely, quiet location, with fully furnished house. Outside, there is a lovely swimming pool (approx. 8x4x1.5 meters) in a spacious garden with beautiful views of the surroundings. As a cherry on top, there is also a super Jacuzzi with delicious relaxation beds.

Michaela’s property is truly outstanding we have never stayed anywhere so beautiful. Pool was heated to perfection(at an extra cost). The whole experience was great, we had an issue with the jacuzzi which we were paying extra for thus was dealt with as soon as we raised it and in a very professional way. Ana the hosts representative was a delightful lady and very responsive. We had simply the best family holiday in a beautiful villa, in a beautiful county. We are already planning our next stay in Michaela’s beautiful home.

Everything was wonderful, the property is great with its views, orange trees, everything, the house had everything and they brought us to a great barbecue, Ana and her mother were wonderful, we liked it very much, and the dog of the great property came to visit us every afternoon, just thank you for everything, we hope to return soon

Lovely, quiet area, not too far from Comporta. Big house with lots of room.

This is a special spot in a gorgeous part of the Setubal peninsula. It's extremely quiet and even though there is a house behind and next to it, it feels very private. Even when people were enjoying the pool in the house behind this one, I could barely hear them as I sat out on my peaceful front patio. The completely fenced-in yard was a great spot for my dog to explore. The kitchen is completely stocked and the rental even came with paper towels (a true rarity), and a complimentary bottle of wine and water. The bathroom had plenty of soap and toilet paper -- something that's not always a given here. The beds were comfortable, the windows were new and solid, and the outdoor shower was a nice way to cool off after a ride using the included bikes. The region is gorgeous with many beautiful hikes and vistas everywhere. Perhaps the best part of it all though, was Joao's communication. He was always quick to respond and had great local recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

Nice stay over Easter. Great for dogs - we went on nice walk down the quiet lanes. 25 minutes to the beach.

Lovely peaceful place with beautiful surroundings, within 30 minutes of big towns and the coast. Friendly and helpful hosts and cute dogs! The house was perfect for our needs. Thank you.

Very nice and clean apartment with two balconies. The pool is clean and spacious, the loungers and parasols invite you to relax and chill. There's even a toilet house. The apartment is just a second away, so you can get drinks or snacks from the kitchen and fridge at any time. The location is very quiet and the combination ideal for relaxing for families with and without children. At the pool and on the landlord's property, it is nice and green and flowery. Although Benafim is in the hinterland, for vacationers with rental cars, the trips are a pleasant change from the various excursion destinations in the Algarve. For us, who also like to explore Tenerife by car, comparably well located. You can experience the hustle and bustle of Albufeira in 30 minutes. All in all a nice place with good value for money. We are very satisfied and will be happy to come back.

In a few words: we can't wait to come back! The house is beautiful, clean, the garden is superb, on a human scale. It has everything the kids need. In short, very happy with our stay!

We felt very comfortable with our children in Anna-Lena's accommodation. The beautiful house sits on a thoroughfare that is somewhat but not overly busy. With a wonderful view of the countryside, the property has everything you need to slow down: something to play for the children (mud kitchen, trampoline, swing, chickens and rabbits), lots of peace and nature with access to the river. The house was super equipped and very clean. We will be happy to come back.

Perfect location - charming house - absolute calm - stunning views

We stayed at Daniel's place for a little more than a week. It was a very restful experience for us in a beautiful rural setting. There are services like restaurants and grocery stores within a close distance at Montemor-o-Novo. It is easy to make meals at the house if you want, the kitchen is well equipped. The house is nicely renovated in a way that blends new and old. It feels very spacious even though it is a modest size. There is an outdoor eating area shaded by a trellis and a large tree that provides a great space for outdoor dining and relaxing. The house interior stays at a comfortable temperature even when it is quite warm outside. Daniel was very helpful with suggestions about things to do in the area and where to eat. We would definitely return again if possible.

We had a wonderful week. Accommodation is full of comforts and we got some good tips from Simone on what to do in the area and where we could eat well. We have been able to feel "at home" for a week and the location is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool!
